>Power system (mecha and other summon-based fighting included)
>Protagonist (with backstory)
>Other main characters (with backstory)
>Antagonist (with backstory)

A man has to fight for his dream he has no friends to rely on

>Plot
A highly renowned writer who wrote many works of art stumbled upon a special mech as the town where he resides is ravaged by Eldritch-like creatures willing to destroy the world. He then joins a group of other famous writers superpowers that are self-motivated by revenge.

>Setting
The story takes place in a multi-dimensional world known as Librarium, while its book-shaped plantes are dubbed as Liber.

>Power system
Palmarius are special mechs with superpowers. They are named after a famous writer's character from one of its works.

>Protagonist (with backstory)
A young adult with mildly attractive features, he's initially driven by his optimism to protect his beloved, but as the story progresses he grew antiheroic. He's romantically indecisive but not to the point of being asexual.

>Other main characters (with backstory)
Within the group of superpowered writers include nice and handsome rich big brother figure, broody lonely asshole, flatchested loli who initially trashtalks the MC but eventually warms up to him, the muscular man, obsessive midchested bookworm, child prodigy and reverse trap. Over the course of the story most will die or end up betrayed and forced to switch sides.

>Antagonist (with backstory)
A world order government full of evil humans that are revealed to have created the Eldritch monsters. The leader is a psychotic pretty boy.

>Plot
People with psychic powers blow the shit out of each other.

>Setting
It's our modern world, but with telekinetic powers that are kept as a secret. Some people have an affinity for them, but anyone can wake those powers if they're exposed to telepathy or telekinesis on their own bodies.

>Power system (mecha and other summon-based fighting included)
Psychic powers is transmitted through psychic waves generated by the body and regulated by the brain, those waves move through more than 3 dimensions, but still are waves with a frequency and a wavelenght. While the wave speed is the same for everybody, the frequency and wavelenght are different for every person, you either have a high frequency and a low wavelenght, or the opposite. A high frequency corresponds to people with stronger but short ranged telekinetic powers, who ussually punch and yell a lot, a high wavelenght corresponds to people with more range but less raw strenght, they ussually excel at telepathy and fine tuned telekinetic control even at a great distance. The powers consist in achieving different effects through the application of psychic powers, for example transmitting heat to make fire attacks, moving electrons for electric currents or even subatomic particles to make radiactive beams, etc.

>Protagonist (with backstory)
MC witnessed his older brother's death when he was young, which was ruled as suicide, but he saw that she was killed by a telekinetic attack. Since he was young and didn't know about psychic powers, he doesn't remember clearly, but after a fateful encounter he awakens his own latent powers and sets up to find his brother's killer.

>Antagonist (with backstory)
A musical band with sound based powers. A man from a light manipulation clan that makes laser beams. A girl with freezing/slowing powers based on reducing kinetic energy at a molecular level. A telepath that can manipulate the enemy's hormones. Random ideas like that, though I don't have a backstory.

>Plot
It takes place in a world of monster people, the protagonist is a spunky and intelligent Wolfman who wishes to rise through the battle circuit, The battle circuit is a large collection of professional martial arts tournaments that allow entrants of any age as long as they prove skilled enough.

>The Power system
The system is a combo of magic/Chi and the crazy natural abilities held by these monster creatures, this splits the set up in two a fighter will usually have natural abilities IE Sharp claws or enhanced hearing and then skills gained via Magic/Chi finding the balance between them is key.

Goro Rei A red Oni who likes to play chess with Tsukimi though he is strong and likes getting into scraps he is refraining from the battle circuit (At the start anyway) so as not to "muddle" in Tsukimi's chances he acts as a training partner and strategic advisor to help Tsukimi prepare for his fights

>it's a mecha harem tournament show
>lots of female pilots only few males
>one of the pilots dies outside of combat
>FOOLED YOU! it's actually a murder mystery set against the back drop of a mecha harem battle shounen
>MC isn't the guy all the girls like it's the Gothic Lolita pilot (if you're writing it the MC can be your favourite girl instead)
>the guy everyone likes keeps being a douchebag and the girls keep loving him
>girls keep dying
>suspicion is placed on Rorigosu and some other creepy girl
>creepy girl gets killed but Rorigosu has a solid alibi
>looks like Gothic Lolita is the killer even although she has a solid alibi and you that's not true right?
>another death and it looks like quite Otaku guy who the girls hate is the killer
>Otaku dies too and it's now looking like douchebag is the killer because he's a sociopath
>shocking twist it was genki girl the whole time
>Gothic Lolita was just creepy and douchebag was just a douchebag
>genki was so friendly the whole time and so full of energy people let their guard down and she sabotaged their mechs and placed live rounds when people thought they would be firing blanks
>Noone ever suspected her because she was so nice kind to everyone
>douchebag says he wasn't ever interest in any of the girls because he's gay
>rorigosu doesn't care about anything anymore
>genki commits suicide by JSDF and fucks shit up in her mecha until she is killed by multiple anti-materiel rifles

gemstones give you special powers but they must be carried inside the anal cavity
gemstones are traditionally attached to fur tails
pulling them out causes your opponent to go into an orgasmic stupor
advanced users insert multiple gemstones to give different powers or as decoys
the larger the gemstone the more powerful it is

>Plot
gadgets from the future end up in the present. chaos ensues as MC & co. tries to solve crimes perpetrated by these gadgets' owner, and collect them to lock them away.

>Setting
present day

>Power system (mecha and other summon-based fighting included)
these items/gadgets varies greatly, consisting mostly of toys, some common household and office items, and rarely, an actual lethal weapon. just far more advanced. application by those who finds them varies as well, from harmless to deadly. even the "toys" can be lethal if used in ways it shouldn't. each item are ID tagged upon first usage, so they can only be used by one user. there's a way around this much later on. think Doraemon, sans a robot cat for proper life lessons and innocent hijinks. just a lot of potentially dangerous gadgets.

>Protagonist (with backstory)
MC is a fat loser, failed getting into a university, & working in a convenience store. one day found some sick looking sneakers. it didn't fit in at first, but it slides right in on his second try, a perfect fit. tried to stop some yankees mugging a middle aged man. yankees starts chasing him. the sneakers actually boosts his running speed & makes him jumps higher, as well as help him perform parkour, assisting with his coordination, footwork & balance, outmaneuvering his pursuers on bikes.

takes a toll on his stamina though, due to his physique, but as the series progresses, he loses weight. meets other comrades who also found similar items.

Kind Hearted Chick: loves manga, an aspiring artist, but can only draws cutesy stuff. owns a pen that 3D prints whatever she draws, bringing her creation to life, often used as decoys/distractions.

Other guy: owns a versatile, Play-doh like large clump of clay, that can morph/reshaped on his own will.

>>Antagonist (with backstory)

>Gun Blaze West + light-hearted Berserk with Samurais

>1645, seven years after the rebellion by catholic christian in Shimabara led by Tokisada Shiro Amakusa.
>MC, a 10-year old at the time comes across a 7-foot tall white Oni with his club bandaged tightly and tied to his back, washed ashore near his fishing village.
>the "oni" is a pious dutch man, once under Nicolaes Couckebacker's employment but joined Amakusa's side, who started the rebellion in order to form shimabara as a separate nation where all men are equal. the "club" is an european longsword, a gift from Amakusa, who received it from an european missionary, apparently as old as the Renaissance.
>MC & the Gaijin becomes friends, hiding him from the rest of the villagers per his request. during their time together, MC shares how he wishes to be a swordsman like Musashi, but being a peasant, can't join a local dojo some of his friends frequent.
>the gaijin hands MC the sword to practice his swinging, much to MC's exhaustion. all the dutchman asks in return should MC ever become a swordsman, is to always do his best to help & protect the weak & the kind, no matter the consequences it may have to his life, just as he himself did after shimabara.
>months later, a douchey dojo student rats out on them & reports to the authority, among them the dojo instructor MC looked up to. the gaijin, not at all a fighter, manages to run away, but not unscathed. MC manages to find him, bleeding profusely. saying their farewell, the dutchman hands MC his sword and cross, reminding him never to use the blade for his own sake.
>for 7 years, MC would practice with the sword on his own, his respect for the local dojo, now famous nationwide, forever lost.
>he heads out on a journey, not for revenge against the sword school that killed his friend (though they will eventually clash), but to help out those in need all around the country, just as the dutchman wanted.

extra notes;
>naturally, training with a much heavier blade than the most of the nation's swordsman, à la Guts, gives MC better upper body strength. self-taught, his unorthodox style is unpolished even by the western swordsmans' standards that would appear later.
>starts off with 3 different styles; an orthodox japanese sword stances, swinging with his arms extended. the long sword results in a more destructive power, but despite the strength training, it's still slow & clumsily predictable to a pro. the second style compensates for the first; he keeps the blade much closer to his body, swinging by rotating his upper/whole body, again, like Guts. fast, destructive & near unpredictable, this is where he truly shines. only weakness here is his reach. third "style" is more of a special move involving him swinging the sword while holding the strap at the butt of the handle to maximise his reach.
>he would later meet a german sword master/smith, polishing MC's sword and style even further, teaching him more orthodox techniques like the half-sword style & Mordhau/Mordstreich/Mordschlag.
>characters includes last of the Fuuma ninja turned cheerfully loud mouthed thief, the flamboyantly gay son of a major warlord who ran away from his castle with his tomboy courtesan/childhood best friend, a hot-headed karate nutjob from Okinawa and a travelling old man, who when forced to, dual wields 2 wooden sword & goes by the name of Takezo-jiisan (his death was greatly exaggerated).
>3 arcs; first just has MC wandering around helping people out, meeting his friends. second, has him face off the sword school owned by the man who killed his friend, clashing blades with friends he used to play with as a kid. third has him dealing with foreign christian missionaries all decked in knight gear, remnants of the Templars, now known as the Illuminati wishing to reclaim MC's sword and cross handed to him, in some bid to remove Pope Innocent X from his Papacy.

>series about pro-gaming
>MC was a jaded middle school otaku with the usual preference for eroge/dating sims, whose only special skill is a slightly better & responsive hand-eye coordination for someone not in a sports club, until a fateful encounter with a chatty friendly high schooler named Dai in an arcade playing SFIII, who kept beating him in every match.
>MC obsessed in beating Dai for months in SFIII. turns to the internet for tips, eventually finding out THAT Ken vs Chun-Li video. attempts to copy it to beat him, before Dai leaves the city, succeeding only once.
>finds out Dai is a promising pro-gamer who debuted the year prior, and responsible for that ken vs chun li comeback match.
>MC had fun & wants another match with him.
>2 years later; MC's room is now littered with arcade fighting sticks + parts as opposed to the eroge/dating sims stuff he had, has won his first minor pro-gaming tourney recently, & is the humble president of a small video game appreciation club in school.
>we follow his rise to the top as he still tries to improve his skills, & eventually inspire his club members to join the scene.
>during matches; instead of simply showing what's going on on-screen, the matches are exaggeratedly represented as if a different genre has suddenly cut in into the series, i.e a match of Ken vs Ryu is shown as a well animated Ken vs Ryu fight as if it was it's own anime. a show within a show more or less.
>not limited to 2D fighting games. MC & his clubmates eventually befriends & gets involved with those from other facets of competitive e-sports: 3D fighting games, FPS, RTS, MOBA, etc., which he sometimes come as a spectator.
>the series basically jumps back & forth from a SoL Sport manga to a hot-blooded action-oriented martial arts manga during a 2D/3D fighting game match, to a Sci-Fi war series during the RTS matches, a military themed manag during FPS matches, fantasy themed manga during MOBA matches, etc.

DICE manhwa made anime

>MC's a delinquent looking HS with detective skills he learned from his dead grandpa, with no interest to get himself involve in any form of police work.
>childhood friend's a genki rich girl/older sister figure who's already engaged for business reasons by her family. MC has no romantic interest in her, but he does have a crush on her BFF instead.
>ojou-sama gets killed, the fiance being the main suspect. turns out she's not as pure as she seems & has been acting out against her family who has planned out her life by getting into some real questionable activities, particularly enjou kosai, much to MC's shock. one of her frequent customer is her fiancee's mother; her killer.
>MC's involvement in solving the case was not publicized to save the police dept's rep & by MC's requests, but he becomes something of an urban legend via social media, contacted via a website made by his classmate who thinks he should put his skills to good use, taking on cases the police ignores.

>MC does these cases reluctantly. earlier cases during his HS years are very minor and are not significant.
>we get flashbacks of MC's gramps & his deceased childhood friend from time to time. as the series progresses, we see gramps is not as nice a cop as he's known to be, having been an alcoholic, a bad husband/father & a corrupt cop. in contrast, MC slowly accepts what his childhood friend did.
>a more realistic take on the genre, with a bit more involvement from the judicial & political system + media later on.
>MC's rise into the public limelight will be highlighted by three major cases, all shout outs to the 3 Auguste Dupin stories by Poe, eventually becoming an actual police detective.
>parallel to his rise, we see the rise of a cult, who's charismatic young leader has a connection to gramps, as well as MC's childhood friend's death, and several other past cases, setting up the final confrontation between them in the final arc based on The Purloined Letter.

>Plot
Teenager who just graduated from the Royal Guard Academy uses his privileges to sign up with a Mercenary Register for the sake of power and riches, but first ... he has to endure a 3 year apprenticeship with the sorriest bunch of senpais the Register has ever had the privilege to have on the roster!

>Setting
The world is wide, but the setting is mainly located on the [ORIGIN CONTINENT] where it's widely believed the "Deity" of this world crashed and died. A lot of the story intersperses between the four branches of this world that have considerable influence: The Nine Temples (Who believe that their founder was touched by the Deity himself); The Mages (Although some dispute that what they do is just tricks and mirrors and some chemistry); The Scattered Tribes (Who firmly call out that they were here and there was no Deity that fell, but a terrible [THING]) and the Seven Crowns, seven separate kingdoms who form a council governing the vast land. The Register isn't a Guild so much as it is a third party advertiser. They ALWAYS get their cut.

>Power system
Purely skill-based with characters mixing bits and pieces from other disciplines into their style.

>Protagonist
Royal Guard Academy graduate who is good-natured and sociable, thinks he's made the big-time by graduating early at 16. Very handy with a staff/spear through RGA training. Also knowledgeable with gunpowder. Wears his helmet at all times because he's bald underneath.

>Other main characters
A brooding sniper who gets nervous around the girl he likes; a former priestess-turned swordswoman; a country girl from the Scattered Tribes who bribed her way onto the roster; the "leader" of this band who is a former Royal Guard and the "rival" character: a young woman with long and dark hair who is a mage and who taunts the MC with her hair.

>Antagonist
Anyone on the opposite side of the bounty, but eventually a three-way conflict occurs that the MC and his crew are drawn into.

Yeah sure why not.
>Plot
A magic academy is massacred by a generic evil sorcerer and his army looking to steal a relic hidden away in its vaults. The surviving students band together both to eek out a living without their school's support, as well as to seek vengeance on the sorcerer who destroyed their lives.

>Setting
Fairly standard fantasy, with the modern society being based primarily around the ruins of two ancient societies; dubbed "Ancients" and "Demons". "Ancients" have a slightly clockpunk aesthetic locales based around their ruins being more technologically driven, while "Demons" are more gothic with their ruins being centers for magic and religion.

>Power System
Magic is based around a written language discovered in Demonic Ruins. Users conjure words into Seals to generate a desired effect. Literacy in the Demon Language determines efficiency, while a caster's overall ability and skill determines how many words they can make into a seal at once (Fire + Water being harder to cast vs. Steam). A caster's understanding, reading, and dialect can influence their spells, leading to varied and unique effects (One person may understand "Flare" to be a stronger "Fire", while someone else may think up something like a signal flare).

>Protagonist
A magic knight trainee and defacto-leader of the band of survivors. Generally intelligent, kind and helpful, being the one who coordinated an evacuation of the academy, saving many of the survivors, thus why they default to him for leadership. Despite this, is haunted by those he couldn't save that day. While some carry a seething hatred towards their assailant, he developed an intense fear, which is at odds with the expectation the others have for him to lead their retaliation.

>Other main characters
The tighter-knit inner circle of survivors who act somewhat as co-leaders or advisors to the MC. Including a couple of his close friends from Magic Knight Training, a recently-graduated healing magic teacher who's the eldest survivor (by a couple years) who tries to be something of a group mother, a hot-headed Enchanter who pushes the most for retaliation, a shy assistant librarian who manages the group's resources, and a pessimistic summoner who seems to be the only one who shares the MC's PTSD.

>Antagonist
For the first half of the series, the generic evil sorcerer who led the massacre on the main character's school, who is eventually discovered to be orchestrating the summoning of a legendary Demon King for nefarious purposes. He is later revealed to be little more than a lackey to a far more powerful spellcaster who has grand ambitions about reviving the lost, Golden Age the ruins of the Ancients and Demons allude to; viewing any sacrifice as necessary for the prosperity he envisions.

This is WSJ thread so may as well post this

Worst Class a series about the worst class in school

>Plot
A slice of life high school series that devolves into battle shonen at some point but keeps its slice of life elements
>Setting
A normal Japanese high school
>Power system
The powers are like a gachapon where you don't know what you get until you have it and you can only
get one. there are rarer and more powerful powers but if you get a shit one you can still train it into god-tier.
The rarest and strongest powers have special names attached to them e.g. "Rasputins Tenacity" gives its
user insane pain resistance. To get a power you have to suffer tons of stress in a short time-frame and when
you get one you'll feel intense pain based on what power you get
>Protagonist
Our MC is Etoku Shakai. An observant but otherwise average haafu. He's also class president. His dad is full blooded American and
his mom's Japanese. Though he lives on his own. During the first battle arc he awakens his power. The rare and long sought after
"Aristotles Vision" which when activated allows him to comprehend everything he's seeing at great speed.
having it on too long causes his eyes to get strained.
>Other main characters
Genki Katto is as shonen protagonist as you can get. He is told that because of his personality he'd never
get any powers but in true shonen fashion he works his body beyond the limit and obtains heat manipulation strong
enough to create fire.

The love interests is named Yanki Shido and she is a delinquent but also somehow vice class president. She starts
crushing on the MC after helping him prepare of the for the sports festival. She's mostly uninvolved with the shonen shit
but if she is she fights only with a bokken.

(cont.)
Sokko Ustu is the the antagonist of the first battle arc and lives by the warriors code: Might makes right.
He starts of hating Etoku for hiding behind Genki and not wanting to fight but grows to respect him once he gets his power.
His power is to move at blistering speeds, he only uses it for punch rushes though.

Yajuu Aratameru Is pure chuuni. while his chuuni-ness is mostly a joke it ends up being all real.
He was taken from his home and forced to suffer lots by an organisation trying to obtain
a power like Etokus. He managed to escape thanks to his power.
The power he got was one that he calls "Beasts soul" which allows him to
change his body into that of a monsters. Like Corrins moveset in smash bros.

other classmates include: A normal girl who acts like a secondary straight man for Etoku, A fujo, A glasses
guy, a gyaru, A NEET type of guy who sleeps in class, and a bunch of Yankis delinquent underlings,
And the teacher is a ventriloquist that only talks through his puppet. Truly
the REAL worst class was the friends we made along the way.

>Antagonist
The big organisation that kidnapped Yaju are the big bads through out the series.

>I couldn't find a regular job so now I work for the villain of this world!

Cute girl leaves college and is down on her luck finding regular work. Her world super heroes and villains exist, battles between the two groups are very common, this world even has their own equivalent to the Justice League and Legion of Doom. Cute girl winds up finding a janitorial position working for the villains in their headquarters.

Feel like I've seen an isekai manga version of this.

A guy is desperately looking for a job, when a shady ad leads him to a shady agency, that hires him to "clean the place" after the weirdest job interview he ever had. Turns out, his job is to clean out reality from creatures that lurk from another dimensions. He receives amazing powers to fight these creatures, but he can only use them in the dimensional rifts where creatures want to enter. He also has to deal with the fact that he has to pay from his pocket from the collateral damage (it's deduced from his salary), so most of the tension in the fights come from the guy not wanting to get hurt (because he has powers but the job has no insurance) and not wanting to break things or call the attention (mentally deducing from his salary the broken things and acting like if that hurts him). Other characters are the MC's boss, a lady that has been in this business for years and lets pretty clear that he's a disposable employee, but deep down appreciates him, it's just that she doesn't have funds. Antagonist is another successful dimension fighter that turns out to strike a deal to let creatures in in exchange for getting his powers permanently.

some of these posts look interesting, I wish I gave more of a fuck about replying

>>*68477 *138565 World's End Harem
Harem magic, and endless cockteasing. This title is the strongest Jump+ title IIRC
Also stealth ToC thread should be a thing
