Yes it does, it's really hard to empathise with the average physically weak mc, it's difficult to find any decent series with anything similar to my body type.
might be why I liked Ore Monogatari, and the non gay parts of Golden Kamui, even sports manga are hard to find when the characters you most closely empathise with are the hulking brutes and antagonists.
