what are the chances of an adaptation?
Dungeon Meshi
Pretty good a few more years down the line.
Pls no, they'd give it to someone like Deen
Probabaly never.
Fucking love it but it's never struck me as 'anime material'.
It's selling well so I don't see why not - or maybe it's selling enough that they don't need to.
But yeah, this is the problem. It doesn't really demand any real effort to adapt so any old team could get it.
Why is he so handsome?
Does the magazine it runs in and the publisher even have a habit of turning its series into anime?
Very high, I guess. You can probably make a decent length season that goes up to Farlyn's revival and ends with the sorcerer appearing.
Extremely high
Hinamatsuri is the only thing in that magazine from what I could tell that got or is getting animated
More than I'd like.
>Animated Marcille hijinks
I'm not ready.
Zero I hope. Not fucking everything needs to be an anime.
this
also Hakumei to Mikochi
It's gonna happen, 100%.
JAP is desperate for original things and this is pretty much textbook it, plus it has all the elements to draw the audience in.
Just a matter of time.
>fantasy genre, in vogue, but also has the appeal of not being LN/VNshit
>series high concept of adventurers eating the monsters they slay in a dungeon includes an indulgence, in this case, the lavishly prepared food
Honestly, it's a pretty safe bet, especially with all the positive press it gets.
he's just exotic because he's the only delicious brown in the mango
like how caska is delicious because every other brown character is a bearded goon or fucking donovan
I'm brown and qt so I'm pretty popular in /soc/ and /hm/
C-Cute
I think it's weird how they just gave up on searching her after like 3 minutes.
He's drawn like a girl.
Hot, where can I see your nudes?
It didn't look like they cared much about Asebi, only their master. They're mercenaries after all.
Certainly surprised it hasn't happen yet, I can't think of why unless the mangaka personally don't care. Popularity is not the reason because the manga sells a shit ton.
Could be that they are waiting for enough material for the number of episodes they want
They already have enough material for a 24 episode + more.
The cat will constantly piss Senshi off to no end.
Pretty certain an anime will be announced soon. This manga is shilled so much, almost certainly someone is getting paid for it.
It makes sense now. The death curse means Cat is not a friend. Cat runs away, Cat dies. No searching needed.
Hopefully slim to none. I don't think the artstyle would transition to animation well, and knowing current trends they'd probably go for 3DCG anyway.
>tfw brown but only somewhat average on a good day
she mixes her pubes into the food?
It will obviously be adapted, even Ancient Magus' Bride was adapted and this one has much better potential of being a hit. It's probably already in the works.
>they'd probably go for 3DCG anyway.
N-no.
Really curious on what brought about the murder curse slave collar. Kot has the mannerisms of a street kid so you might think theft, but that doesn't really call for that level of punishment. Her garb and handling of Marcille also speak more toward assassination. I want to know how a poorfag gutter child became an assassin if that's the case.
and I want dog and cat to fug
>they're mercenaries
They're his retinue who double as bodyguards. Tengu MILF has been doting on him for years.
It's only a matter of time.
Kiki and Kaka are light brown
I kinda assumed she's just not allowed to be independent, on account of being beastkin. She seems more like a child soldier who's moved from keeper to keeper than a street kid.
Sakamoto also was from same the magazine
I feel like an anime would feel really dull due to the format alone - especially the cooking segments explaining every step. Being able to take your time to read it is far more enjoyable.
Yeah, but pretty sure main crew would hate Sureau&co. if they found out that was the case. "I touch your neck every day or you die" is kind of a big deal for just being a little messed up, especially with how many ways it can go wrong being separated and whatnot.
They also didn't give a fuck that they were leaving without her and essentially doomed her to die without a hint of remorse. She must've done something fucked up, Sureau&co. haven't been set up to be so bastardly as that.
I get the impression people consider dark arts related stuff like her inherently dangerous and untrustworthy, maybe even moreso in not!Japan.
It's not really uncommon for feudal or medieval societies to have indentured servants, and a death curse is just a step up from that for servants that are considered incredibly dangerous. It may even be seen as a rather benevolent thing to just let her live.
I wouldn't put this past the manga. The world of Dungeon Meshi is pretty grim at times. Illuminati elves that disappear people for their research is something I never expected.
My current headcanon was that she was making a joke about Asebi possibly poisoning their food and that Asebi was an assassin that tried to kill Sureau but was thwarted and enslaved by his party via the curse.
>>Sup Forums
...
>hey this curse will kill you unless the wizard bitch touches it to restart the timer
>so how often does she reset it?
>lol idunno
Nah it's probably just because she's a gross sub-human.
Sureau doesn't seem to have the cruel streak to go around curse marking people, he would probably just kill an assassin. She was likely already an indentured servant or slave for the family since those with beast souls can't really do better.
>adaptation
fuck off to reddit and Sup Forums
Hopefully 0% The manga looks too good and would end up being butchered.
Also it's a little too slow paced to really work as an anime, I mean things are picking up now, but a lot of it really is just trudging through a dungeon eating shit.
Laius's tired face only serves to make him look like even more of a psychopath.
I think they just look down on her as a product of dark magic. Her very existence is tainted
He's suffering a lot right now
