I have enough / A / thread, check enough r / dbz thread and enough kanzhnhuu threads to know that this show is very disappointing for all fans. You know, under that reasoning, nobody accomplished anything in most of the story arcs. Most of the cast didn’t scratch Nappa, let alone Vegeta. Frieza spent most of his time not using full power and just toying around with everyone until Goku beat him. That’s not even counting Buu spending most of the time screwing around until spirit bomb.
That sounds really ambiguous. When he says "I wondered why it was so popular" he could be referring to the Frieza arc. He doesn't sound as enthusiastic about it as you made it seem at first, either.
