I could chalk it up to a legitimate plot hole but water in this series seems to be too important to something or other for it to be just a casual error. First meeting at a lake, swimming, water around the parasites' house, 'random' frames of water droplets all throughout ep5, the importance of the rain in ep5, snow in 02's memory with the frozen tree. I really want to know what's going on.
