I know one of the times in the anime the useless elf just happned to be in the bed when it seemed like there was a chance, and she punished him for no reason. I actually think so too. I think the author values tradition, so he wanted to keep putting it off until the end. But showing that Saito and Louise are sexually attracted and wanted to do it is still a good way to show how far they've come. I appreciate that.

Louise didn't like Tabitha at first, but she has grown neutral and even respects her ability as a knight. And if she can tolerate Siesta who competes doing lewd things to Saito, then I'm sure she would be fine with Tabitha. Knowing that Tabitha is the responsible type, she'd go meet Saito's parents.

The development is fine, I just prefer to have more development after the first time. Even if the author didn't die, I doubt we would have gotten much content past that point. Tabitha didn't seem to be the type who would try to monopolize Saito either.

This is mostly wishful thinking, but the author probably could and would of expanded the ending more or even written an AU with a legitimate harem end. Considering he passed away sadly I guess I have to come to terms with the ending we got.
