So... how many episodes will it be before Kokoro is knocked up by either Mitsuru or Futoshi? With that baby book she got from that Pharmacy, it’s only a matter of time she’s going to cause some serious consternation among the main squad or APE. Though it begs the question whether as parasites they even can have children, or even sex to begin with. For all we know they could neutered. Given the crapsaccharine world they seem to live in, I’m beginning to feel that they are disposable biological tyke bombs used and abused by a council of transhuman immortals that have been around since the beginning. Yeah, it would be so good if the book takes the plot down that line where the content becomes more mature yet serves a purpose in the plot.
This show makes me feel like it has the potential to go so many directions but also makes me feel like it won’t.
It looks more and more likely by each passing episode that Mitsuru is going to get between Futoshi and Kokoro, as Kokoro is the only one that ever interacts with him.
Certain levels of relationship drama in this show that helps to build mood and advance the plot is all good. I just hope they can find the right balance and not overdo it.

Why would Goro be particularly likely to die?
The way the story is set up he's bound to be torn up from jealousy when he finds out Ichigo loves, and has kissed, Hiro instead of him.
It's probably the next arc we are heading into. The way these kind of shows work he will inevitably side against the protagonist and become a rival/antagonist of sorts, until he eventually converts back to the good guys at the very end.
Still, by being the pairing with the less problems and drama they are first in the chopping block.
I have my suspicion. That maybe all of them are not human.
Right now I’m pretty sure they retain reproductive capabilities considering a few are able to feel love (ex. Ichigo, Hiro). Depending on what makes them inhuman they might have a shortened lifespan instead (I’m leaning towards this one personally), or are just destined for liquidation after reaching a certain age. Plus if the kids can still make babies it makes for better suffering later on.

The Pistil executes the low-level "execution" part of things like managing the robot's body and systems while the Stamen executes the high-level part of things like decision making.
The stamen has the initiative but the pistil is there to support him in terms of execution. When their sync is high the FranXX seems to feel light (the pistil is supporting well) and blinding fast (see Strelizia's deflection in episodes 4 and 6), but when sync is low it feels heavy, so the pistil is not helping with the execution of what the stamen wants to do (see Delphinium's stagnation in episodes 3, 4 and 6 and Strelizia in episode 3). If Stamen wants to do something against the wishes of the Pistil it leads to a desynchronization and the movement hangs (see Argentea in episode 2).

The pistil's more like the ECU. Takes care of keeping the engine and other systems running, but won't actually do anything without the driver's input.
