Make sure Tien, Krilin, Yamcha and Piccolo learn it too later on
Stop making villians 1000 stronger each new arc, removing power levels is the most important step.

Have Goku die on Namek, Krillen remains dead, the Saiyan race (aside from Gohan) is basically at an end, Picollo with his change of heart, becomes the Guardian of Earth to keep the world that raised Goku safe. Gohan becomes a turtle student like his late Father + best friend and even roams the earth like Goku did as a child. The Dragonballs won't work on reviving Goku + Krillen since they've been revived one already (no multi Rez bullshit, and no Guru being revived because his "natural" death was a result of stress from Freeza).

Pan, Goten, and Trunks are the main focus while Goku still gets turned in to a kid, but is just a traveling mentor of some sorts who gets his ass beat whenever a villain shows up cause he can't get his true power back

Have pan actually be pretty powerful, on par with Trunks and Goten or even more powerful than them depending on what you want to do with the story.

Super isn't without it's faults, but GT is just absolute garbage.

Only redeeming thing about it is the OST and SS4 (even if it's a jobber form after Baby)

As much shit that DB Super gets, I'm glad that it goes back to it's comedic and tournament roots.

Also the fact that secondary characters have MUCH more screentime. One thing I hated about GT was that it was literally "Goku Time".

At least Super features plenty of forgotten characters, and the current arc even has a tournament with them...when I thought they'd never fight again after Freeza/Cell

It's absolute fan-service, and I'm having a fun time with it.

Longer fights with better choreography instead of just flying around throwing super fast punches. The Janemba movie had great choreography showing that super could've been better

Option 1: ends after Gohan kills Cell. The post fight scenes of Goku saying he shouldn't be rezd and Vegeta saying he'll never fight became pointless which made the moment meaningless
Option 2: Gohan or Gotenks kills Buu and the series ends with Goku and Vegeta dead while the new generation take a step forward instead of what happens in super

Dial back on the constant transformations. More arcs before the Top featuring other universes. Remove Goku Black's entire mess of a story even thought I enjoyed it the most his arc was terrible. Make sure Top isnt just the U7 Gauntlet. Have the non saiyans be at SSJ2 or SSJ3 levels instead of God Mode. And more Sol episodes.

Build up Gohan's supporting cast, with rivals, instead of just giving him Goku's friends, have Gohan do more things in general in the frieza and android saga. The only fight he had was against cell. Have Gohan defeat Buu.

Goku realizing Gohan doesnt want to fight and helps him and the two beat Cell together. Then vegeta finally getting over his obsessive rivalry in the buusaga.
