The OP has nothing to do with the actual content of the anime. Just skip it and watch the damn thing. You can't switch to the manga because we haven't finished scanlating it. The second season of the anime is the only way to bridge the gap between the first and second series without reading the raws.

Maybe over, maybe not. Musashi's just had his soul sucked back out by Sabuko (Tokugawa's sister, the one who originally put Musashi's soul into the body).
