Come on Mei, give some love to Yuzu

Come on Mei, give some love to Yuzu.

God this fucking pink bitch is getting on my nerves so hard.

The voice actress they chose for her didn't help at all

There is no way I would've hated her any less with a different voice.
Her actions are just plain evil.

yeah she's too fucked up to be forgiven

...

>HEY user YOU'RE GONNA HATE MEI AND THIS ENTIRE DUMB SHOW AFTER THIS CHILDHOOD FRIEND ARC
>the arc comes, Mei is perfectly understandable, Yuzu is super cute, no angst or retarded drama in sight
>HEY user YOU'RE GONNA HATE MEI AND THIS ENTIRE DUMB SHOW AFTER THIS DADDY ISSUES ARC
>the arc comes, Mei is perfectly understandable, Yuzu is super cute, no angst or retarded drama in sight
>HEY user YOU'RE GONNA HATE MEI AND THIS ENTIRE DUMB SHOW AFTER THIS ENKOU ARC
>the arc comes, Mei is perfectly understandable, Yuzu is super cute, no angst or retarded drama in sight
>YOU JUST WAIT IT'S COMING user MEI'S A FUCKING BITCH I SWEAR TO GOD
I should just stop coming to these threads I guess.

Yuuuuzuuuu

Anime when?

Nice. Is the cafe that Yuzu and Matsuri went to real as well?

Probable or possible announcements either on Anime Japan, the next Dengeki Daioh issue, or whenever the next manga volume is released

This thread should just die, nothing interesting to say before next episode seriously.

I could see volume 4 threads being slower, since it's seen as the worst arc in the manga.

She's just a lonely misguided girl. It's not too late for her.

Last few episodes: Mei ignores Yuzu for almost 2 months, accepts a confession from a random girl she doesn't like in order to use her to make Yuzu give up on her, cheats on the girl when Yuzu comes onto her letting Yuzu lick her neck, still goes on a date with the random girl the next day, immediately breaks up with the random girl and then accepts Yuzu's confession and says they should date. Of course later in the manga we find out Mei knew she would be part of a new arranged marriage with a guy the entire time, so she abandons Yuzu and leaves a Dear John letter saying why she can never see her again. That's where the series is now. No new chapter until April.

>putting Citrus in the name instead of in the subject or the body
Good job.

user, if you like Mei, you like Mei, and no amount of Mei shitposting will convince you otherwise. That's great. Just ignore all the Mei hate and continue on as you are. Fair warning though, the next arc is a trainwreck for both Mei and Yuzu's characterizations, and this is something that even those who unironically like Citrus will not deny.

The hate comes mainly from retards that fail to understand her character at all, don't worry.

Unless the anime improves it? They've been making little changes here and there, this arc is the perfect time to put it all together.

They've only made minor changes. Don't expect volume 4 to be any less of a trainwreck.

Chapter 36 justifying Mei's actions in volume 4 as desire vs duty means her actions can't be changed much.

Sadly, I really believe the author lack lucidity in the way she judges retrospectively her shittiest arc.

The letter proves that.
>Hey, in fact, arc 4 was totally under control. Mei acted like a total idiot because she has her engagement pending.

In fact, Mei acted like that because the author couldn't write her correctly. But she tried, with chapter 36, to let us believe it was all planned. So, she may believe that the original story is fine and we'll only have some minor changes that won't transform this arc into some better plot with a better characterization.

Some of the imagery they used in the latest episode was fucking perfect. We got to see a borderline psycho Matsuri while they were building up the tension and setting up Matsuri as the ultimate villain during the blackmail scene. That crazy smile and those soulless eyes. Absolute kino.

A lesser show wouldn't have cut it short there like Citrus did with Yuzu headbutting her way in to save the day for a happily ever after conclusion.

Some people said Matsuri being alone after Yuzu's departure, and feeling lonely is a poor justification for her action. I think the anime did a good job to portray her as a villain but also a very disturbed teenager.

And people forget that resentful teenager can be as malicious as Matsuri to forget their anger and their pain.

The author gains nothing by admitting any of her arcs were poorly thought out or executed. Plus, she can't go back and change the arc now without creating continuity issues. So the most she could do at this point is what she did in chapter 36 and try to give Mei a fairly reasonable motive for her actions in volume 4.

I higly doubt Mei's actions in the anime will be explained like in the manga, with the engagement as a way to put light on it. Since anime Yuzu cannot be informed without creating, as you said continuity issues.

So if with the letter, in the manga, she tried to give a clear motive (and I still believe it doesn't go well with volume 4 whereas it fits more with Mei's behavior in volume 5,6,7 even 3), in the anime it will be very difficult.

The anime will end with the weakest part of the manga.

The anime did add the bit about Shou offering to take Mei with him and her refusing despite it not being brought up until the volume 8 bonus chapter in the manga.

The anime could just show Mei being ambiguously torn over what to do about Yuzu without really explaining the motive. The viewer could just assume whatever motive they want, unless they read the manga to find out canon reason. Mei accepting Sara's confession was just her trying to take the easy way out and avoid dealing with her feelings for Yuzu regardless of what Saburouta decided to make her motive out to be.

...

>I accidentally hung up

Mei is like an old lady. Which makes her a lot more charming.

Granny Mei is the best.

She looks ultra comfy

...

I want to snuggle with Mei!

Yuzu, you've been dumped for 8 months. Thank you anyway.

>Yuzu

Yuzu (柚子): Citrus Junos

2 new stories from the anthology.

I'm pretty sure the thread not being properly labeled makes it hard to find. Better let it die and make a new one with the anthology.

Mmm... Sweet, sweet, yuzu

Ha-Harumin?!
