DBZ had a lot of good fights with some QUALITY in between. Its the same examples over and over again, usually in Cell's tournament.
Some terribly animated segments in almost 300 episodes.

DBS has a couple brief decent moments with Zamasu, 17, Kefla and UI. Thats it. I cant remember a single scene that wasnt shit in the first 3 arcs and it devolved into reusing animation for half of the episodes by now.

Its GT levels of bad.

The funny thing is that while this may have been low quality for the time, this is still better than most of super including some of the better animated segments of the show. Goku doesn't become malformed or misshaped at all during those flips. The only obviously bad part is frieza's leg and even that is minimized by the camera cutting.

How do you define 'some' though? I'd say the same for Super. There's a lot of acceptable animations, quite a few well animated sequences here and there. The most used examples of bad animation are the same over and over again, usually in the movie retelling arcs. Just some terribly animated segments in 130 episodes. What people actually dislike the most if the inconsistencies with art remaining on model.

Reusing animation is a staple of the genre, considering it's not a seasonal show. Here's another scene that, if done in Super, would be called "bad"

Woah cool thread guys. Okay so, believe it or not I work at Toei Animations and there has been some talk about potentially doing some Dragon Ball content after the movie comes out. It won't be a new show but rather two lengthy OVAs adapting Toyotaro's Universe 6 arc and Future Trunks arc. So far its questionable if his Universe Survival Arc will ever be adapted but as for now it hasn't been discussed. We have mostly been going over the look and art direction of the OVA and from what I can tell we will be going back to the style from the Yo Son Goku and Friends Return OVA from 2008. So far things are moving slow but we expect to really pick things up come December so stay tuned!
