it has good value on rewatch
>tfw you realized smile was humming the hero song and asking Peco about heroes since EP1
>tfw Peco says Smile has been waiting for me for a long time know
>tfw Peco always knew and he was just playing dumb

It's a great show. Threads tend to be awful though.

I would recommend watching other Yuasa shows as well, they are all very good.

I hope you've read the manga too.

I read parts of it. Didn't see many changes desu

Except for Devilman.

Actually, it makes a lot of sense to watch Devilman Crybaby after Ping Pong since both shows tackle sports.

Devilman is good though?

Typical contrarion. Thanks for posting, faggot.

Friendship is nice and whatnot but what about the truly best character development of the series?

This looked like something my kid sister would draw with a crayon. The story was also trash. Thanks for reading.

Your sister must be very talented, good for her.

Can you elaborate on what exactly you didn't like about the story?

I didn't say I didn't like it. I said it was bad. Do you have trouble reading?

So can you explain your opinion?

The voice acting is god-tier.

this a short vid explaining the symbolism in the show, pretty intresting

I though the sports in Devilman took away from the story. In Ping Pong the sport is elevated to the most important part of the story by Dragon and when Peco and Smile start training the main focus is victory of the match making it very intense however the running elements in Devilman didn't interest me at all, and took away from the story without adding much content. Also I felt the metaphors near the end about Akira running where much more forced in Devilman rather than in ping pong. Both shows still great tho, but its one of the reasons ping pong is 10 for me a devilman is more of an 8/9

Not him, but I've watched Kaiba, TTG, Devilman Crybaby, and Ping Pong. Devilman Crybaby is easily the weakest of those four.

Manga was better.

>Kissanime
>He missed (Hoshi)no and (Tsuki)moto

Come on, man.

>yuasa
>masterpiece
Another faggotry thread

Eh, I thought it was pretty good, especially that part where all the power in the world still didn't help Akira to run fast enough when it mattered.

You should watch Kemonozume, it's one of the best shows by Yuasa in my opinion.

I think Devilman Crybaby suffered from being too short.

I just started this yesterday as a matter of fact. Loving it so far.

Does Sup Forums need a monthly thread the remind everyone how much of a "masterpiece" this show is?

happy robot

With that OST and its perfect usage I doubt that

When was the last time you smiled like that. Sup Forums?

Yes.

Yesterday.

Well, of course, but if you put x next to Kaiba and TTG most things will fall short. Devilman is by no means bad, but it is the worst thing Yuasa has ever made.

ye

That's one of the best final episodes I've ever seen. Almost every scene is a 10/10

The moment Smile and Peco shook hands had me shaking with excitement.

Lu Over The Wall is worse than Crybaby.

This entire scene makes me nut

How can you not love that art style?

Designated Scorching Ping Pong Girls post

If it does, then it isn’t actually a masterpiece.
