This is the face of a guy who LITERALLY killed 3 cute girls.
This is the face of a guy who LITERALLY killed 3 cute girls
Is there a worst MC than soda kun?
Yeah, he's a force to be reckoned with. He'll probably fail at art and become a vicious politician in the end.
>didnt stop a magical girl from going up against an evil god-like mary sue being
>ignored his friend being in an obviously bad mental state causing her to eventually commit suicide
>convinced a very stupid knight that no matter what happens, she could win at any given situation because he believes in her
Sota was meant to be the actual villain in the show, the absolute madman
Would shark teeth fuck him?
>tfw Sota gets to be in a threesome with a shark and a magician even though he did absolutely nothing but be a faggot & passive-aggressive murderer for 22 episodes
>anime girl falls for a fake nice guy
It's perfectly consistent
He only killed one cute girl, Shimazaki Yuna. Mamika and Aliceteria weren't honorary japanese citizens, just fictional characters, so killing them was on the same level of writing an edgy fanfiction about them and publishing. And Selesia is too old to be called a girl.
They weren't Japanese civilians but they were considered as real human beans tho.
Selesia jobbed without Sota's help, was probably secretly happy seeing her get beaten up.
I've always wondered this; if Altair messed with the yolk or whatever you call it of the real/fiction world, does that mean that characters started appearing all over the world?
If they did, then boy oh boy Altair would have been dead in 5 minutes if they decided to travel to Japan.
It would literally mean the world would cease to exist. Or, like I like to call it, the Great Destruction.
I mean during the course of the show when new characters keep popping up due to the limit between fiction and reality already being messed up.
With that in mind, did characters from various franchises started appearing in lets say, the US?
They were all hand picked by Altair, and we see Altair inside Selesia and Rui's world, and other characters also met her first (except Magane, since she was already comfortable in her sofa so she sent her minions).
It's possible that Altair could simply detect who was brought and appear there early, which the "only current popular" characters would imply. On the other side they also mention that all characters brought are from very restricted genres, as if someone who just enjoyed anime and games were choosing then, which would imply Altair was using Setsuna's memories to select them.
And then there is the question why Souta was pulled, but it's probably because Altair remembered Souta when thinking about Selesia (because it's the drawing that connected him and Setsuna). So overall, it's very likely that Altair chose them, with the character being currently popular being a requirement for her holopsicon to work.
this is what happens when you BETA so hard you start killing girls. this fag should just die. he completely ruined RE: CREATORS
Not to mention Meteora explicitly summons both Erina and Vogelchevalier.
I thought the eroge character turned real by a mistake? Why would Altair even choose her, she was completely useless until they gave her asspull powers.
For fun. And probably because she was cheap but still caused damage to reality (she had a limit of 3-4 more characters summons by the end of first cour).
Wasn't is Soda who was the last trigger that pushed his best friend/crush into suicide?
Yes.
Even Eggs didn't cause Inko to kill herself. Truly Soda is the worst boy.
>step on me
>""""for fun""""
Altair was a horny dyke.
But seriously, rewatching the show, she spared all of the girls in the finale but shanked poor Yuya with 4 swords for simply helping her up when she was unconscious.
Aliceteria and Selesia weren't so lucky though. And killing a powerless eroge/romance girl would probably drop her acceptance as a hero, Rui was left alone as well and Blitz would be next if not for Setsuna summoning.
Did anybody else only kept watching just to see how bad it would get? (And for Magane)
why are all characters like this complete psychos
She could have killed Selesia here but she spared her instead.
Alicteria killed herself because of stupidity and believing Soda's lies.
No, I found it entertaining and I was happy with the ending even with the bad overall pacing.
She spared Selesia because of her ironic and dramatic script for her.
>knows that killing characters would not sit well with the audience
>still kills Yuya
>Soda
>MC
No user, he's at best the narrator. But really more of a framing device for us to jump into the story.
Meteora is the closest thing to a MC in the show.
She's not any better than soda.
Soda saved everyone at the end with his great last minute story asspull and you wanna tell me he wasn't the self-insert MC? Every other creator literally tells him "Wow Soda, you're so awesome, you did what we couldn't and saved the world."
The only reason he won was because Shark lent him her asspull powers because she realized she couldn't continue to kill people if the universe was destroyed.
>Soda
>self-insert
Seriously? Who would think this? At best he's portrayed as an out of his depth loser who gets stupid lucky at the last second. At worst he's a little shit who abandoned what seemed to be his only real friend, over his pivix page. And his art is terrible.
No, Meteora is a treasure
Soda is a self-insert for wannabe creators.
He didn't, you know. Like, he totally didn't. The show would have been infinitely better if he had, because he has no personal involvement otherwise.
If he'd been the one to tell Setsuna "Why don't you fucking kill yourself?" and Altair wanted to gut him, the story would be more interesting.
At least Eggs-kun killed some faggots instead of Soda-kun.
>Meteora is a treasure
Get off Sup Forums, Hiroe.
Then the story would start with the police investigating his bizarre murder though, it's not like there is anything stopping Altair, especially before she even summons anyone for her major plan.
>If he'd been the one to tell Setsuna "Why don't you fucking kill yourself?" and Altair wanted to gut him, the story would be more interesting.
Oh how I wished for this to happen, you have no idea.
Altair wanting to kill him should have happened considering Soda was basically motherfucking HAPPY to see Setsuna suffering instead of defending her. No, he was too busy being a sociopath, scratching his balls and posting shitty art that nobody even cares about.
He was so amazingly useless that the show made me believe he's THAT useless for a reason, which is because soon Altair's gonna send one sword between his eyes and one into his dick as he falls to the ground, dying in his own piss and blood. I thought they werent giving his character any development because soon it wouldn't matter anymore. But sadly my wishes never came true.
And the only reason Shark lent him her powers is because he's the self-insert MC pal
Maybe Altair wants him to fucking squirm before he dies.
He was so unimportant to the story Altair just decided to end the world with him in it.
Souta is the most user protagonist there ever will be. Weak willed beta, loses the easy chick to the point where she literally kills herself over it, mediocre at what he does and does almost nothing to fix the situation he put himself into.
>Souta is the most user protagonist there ever will be.
>characters from fiction suddenly materialize in the real world
>Soda immediately goes on Sup Forums
>g-guys animu is real my waifu is in my room and my dead uggo gf's OC is trying to kill me
>>lol threesome what's the problem, faggot
>ok then.jpg
>proceeds to rape Altair and Selesia
He wishes he was an user protagonist, at least he'd be less useless because we'd be here to guide him
You mean a thirsty MC that can literally only think about fucking his waifu/husbando the moment there is any sign of anime being real?
Exactly.
She was a much better MC than Soda was in every single aspect.
Can't they just release one fucking chapter from their original series or something. The hope for the OVA's is long past but fuck there is so much to do here
I love Altair and is the best girl
Hitler never failed at art they told him to do architecture instead, and he did
I would love to see an OVA from Magane's or Blitz's series.
You mean the light novel version by Rei Hiroe?
There's none of it translated yet. The only thing translated from the guidebook is a long ass interview with Hiroe himself.
NoI mean Vogelchevalier for example
He's not the MC. It's show with ensemble cast
She appears in more episodes than him.
Oh, yeah that's probably never happening lol.
I am waiting for the light novel to be translated someday in this lifetime, though, I do know some tumblr translator blog in on it but they're also translating 1000 other franchises along with it so that's gonna take a long while.
He meant that Meteora sucks, user.
The thing is, he has to be tied to the plot somehow. I don't think he ever actually interacts with Altair at all. It would have made more sense if Altair used him as the reason why human should be destroyed.
Altair never interacted with any human though, not only Souta. She completely ignored Aliceteria's creator as well. She really did hate humans.
Who doesn't suck?

Soda
If I forgot anyone it's because they were too forgettable.
>those theories of soda-kun becoming his own meta Gary Sue and defeating Altair
so, should I skip this anime?
It sounds bad
Reminder: Altair and Souta never talked face to face for a full on confrontation
The MC is the worst I've ever seen, but it is interesting overall solely because of its concept. It did present itself very differently at the beginning compared to how it turned out.
The reason it triggers a lot of people on Sup Forums is because they watched it when it aired and had to wait week after week for an anime that didnt deliver on its premise.
So if you keep in mind that this isnt really action-focused but more meta-focused instead you'd enjoy it. Altair is an interesting character.
Who cares about Sota, I wanted Altair to meet Magane. It would have been the exchange of the season.
Altair and Sota meeting would have been Altair simply mentioning Setsuna and then Sota breaking down crying into a fetal position.
Skip the shit out of it. Rei Hiroe created the dud of the year.
