having a waifu buffet instead of a believeable cast
Simple: time travel.
This
And this
Not this, Feris is for pure love, her ending should have been canon. The future was just as unknown as the steins gate worldline actually.
What? That was the best part
>VN adaptation
What the fuck were you expecting?
He saved the wrong girl
>attention span
Generic VN BGM loop as anime BGM
youtube.com
Why is this allowed?
Because VN adaptations are invariably shit.
having a tranny
This, in all timelines its totally justified
He left all those versions of Kurisu alone everytime she tried to help him.
Not enough Takumi.
Off-model Kurisu in the anime. Fucking atrocious.
Trap dating episode. Other then that not much.
ur mom
play the vn it's miles better
this is one of the main things, the kurisu i love doesnt have le ebin red hair
Nothing. It was a decent VN.
this
the vn is so much better compared to the anime
He should have let Ruka stay a woman and married her.
Fucking let tuterru die. Smallest price ever for a Ruka you can impregnate.
I feel like this is a legit route in the VN, but making her a girl literally kills the most special trait you like about her
I didnt understand the plot.
The Tuturu didnt die.
Seriously though why does the Tuturu make me want to see her die a useless death?
k-keep going
nevermind dont get banned i found it
The damn cowards cut out Moeka's route.
Time travel.
Because you're a sick piece of shit.
It is a legit route in the VN and it's disgusting.
Easily the worst ending in the VN.
Because you can only marry her as a woman?
Yeah, I have to agree
Copy and pasting from a previous thread
That was far and away the worst of all endings.
Okabe is out of character since he already went through the tribulation of taking away his friend's happiness with Faris, and that was even worse as he was metaphysically killing Faris's father to do so. It proves that Lukako is a weak person who would kill Mayuri for the sake of her own happiness, basically putting her on the same level as Moeka, only without the excuse of extreme psychological trauma and dependency. Okabe hooks up with the only person who doesn't make him happy or have any beneficial impact on the world and damns the future to SERN's iron fist forever, meaning Suzuha's entire life was a meaningless failure because Lukako broke a computer.
Unlike Suzuha end which has a spark of hope, and Faris end which is an utter mystery, and Mayuri end which still has the meager dream of a happy life at least evading World War III's effects on the world, there is nothing to look forward to in Lukako end. The future is damned, there is no IBN5100 to collect. Okabe's death in 2025 is certain. The resistance against SERN will fail. Everything is awful.
Was Nyanyan actual retard?
this, luka's ending always struck me as really out of fucking place. nothing could be more out of character for okabe
Does anything good ever come out of the existence of traps?
Was Nyanyan actually that short? One can only imagine
Too much drama, too little science ever since the Feris-nyan-nyan route.
How to fix Steins gate
>Have Mayuri die of cancer one year before the actual game happens
>T. Grief stricken Okabe that pretends to be a mad scientist to hide his depression.
>Remove Moeka, Lukako and Faris.
>More focus on Daru and his hacker empire.
>More KURISUTINA
>Have Daru's Daughter go around killing rounders, she can be completely fucking crazy and apathetic due to SERN brain washing.
>More focus on Committee of 300 conspiracies to reduce humanities population to 1 billion.
>Okabe crosses world lines combating SERN
>Daru is a master hacker in every world line and uses Okabe to gather infomation across worldlines. (With the help of Kurisu he is able to implant a memory card in Okabe's brain that takes his memories across world lines.
>Daru is cold and uncaring towards suzuha, instead using her as a ruthless assassin, removing the illuminatis influence in Japan.
2nd COUR
>Okabe takes control of the Japanese government.
>Daru is chief of staff.
>T. Legend of the Time-Travelling, Conspiracy Crushing Heroes.
Steins gate a shit because the main 'enemy' the committee of 300 is never defeated and instead they just run away from all world lines to the world they like the most, which in the end probably still gets taken over by SERN.
So I'm getting into the SciAdv series and so far the only real problem I have is that Chaos;Head won't launch properly. Is the translation issues with CC really bad enough to wait for the PC version even though I have the PS4 version?
>fatbro doesn't ntr/mind break all the girls
wtf dropped
>Cuck;Gate
>basically you lose your girl in every timeline
Anime worthy
>Maho spent 15 years alone with Okabe in the final Beta timeline, no Mayuri or Assistant, and they never fucked
My rock hard boner.
Primer exists
>harem shit
That has to be some of the laziest bait I've ever seen.
Name a show/book/movie that does time travel better than steins gate. It is the top of that genre.
easy
What's with critics and comparing everything time-travel related to Donnie Darko?
Even Steins;Gate got this shit: "It's like somebody taped an episode of The Big Bang Theory over a copy of Donnie Darko"
>donnie darko for grownups
Huh? How is that movie not for grownups?
Slow down there, mate, I'm a big fan of S;G but even then I'm not retarded enough to declare that line
Really, user? I bet you're still watching cartoons with 30.
Checkmate, weeb.
Too many spin-off.
Please explain the plot holes that steins gate has.
Nothing
The main character
And they tried to retcon that ending in the spin off VN
I would, but you haven't sufficiently researched John Titor, CERN, or "Dr. Pepper" so you wouldn't understand the conspiracy.
They never do, because they're full of shit or trolling.
Those are just references they took to craft the plot, but I'm referring to the perfect time travel mechanic with no paradoxes whatsoever and full closed cycle steins gate presents.
1. the inexplicable ability for a phone-microwave to rewind time for the entire world (not just inhabitants of a time machine, as appears later).
2. This ability for one person (or a group of people near the phone-microwave) to remember other world-lines, but apparently NOT the future history of the world line they are currently now within.
2. SERN developing said technology and yet not resetting the world to gain what they desire (or doing so in another world line dimension that MC is now unaware of).
3. Changing the past is moving a world-line, so time travel to your double past is impossible as you then create a new world-line. John Titor travels to the past twice, and yet reaps the benefits of both time travels in a single world line, impossible per world-line mechanic (travel creates new multi-verse). The paradox is that you would have to already exist within the world line where time travel to the 70's happened before time travel existed to travel into the 70's, and thus time travel to the 2000's reaping those later leaps.
The plot-hole could be fixed if time travel to the 70's happened FIRST, then forward time travel to the 2000's to hang with parents happened afterwards, but this diverges from the IRL John Titor plotline the story follows, so it adopts the plot.
Even when factoring out paradoxes by the presupposition that everything that can happen does happen, we're left with a story that can only exist within a paradoxical set of world lines that can't retroactively influence one another.
There's no Moeka route in the VN? There's one in the drama CDs though.
>A fucking man desperate enough to destroy a happiness of a solitude girl and kill a stranger in a sense somehow even consider letting a male remains a female just to marry him not out of love an option
>Kurisu doesn't even consider time leaping herself to change the past an option after she knows how Okabe has suffered
>Committee of 300 men don't even consider checking out an abnormal satellite look alike object even though they isolate the whole Akibahara area
>And then there is that retarded movie with muh reading steiner
A few ones, and that's without checking the game or series in a long time, or even checking the whole pseudo science thing
>Fucking time leaping Nae without the need of a phone to receive the signal every 2 days
>Akibahara
*Akihabara
>>A fucking man desperate enough to destroy a happiness of a solitude girl and kill a stranger in a sense somehow even consider letting a male remains a female just to marry him not out of love an option
Not a plot hole.
>>Kurisu doesn't even consider time leaping herself to change the past an option after she knows how Okabe has suffered
Okabe won't let her.
>>Committee of 300 men don't even consider checking out an abnormal satellite look alike object even though they isolate the whole Akibahara area
They can't fuck with the past too much because it will jeopardize what is a guaranteed future in every Alpha line.
>>And then there is that retarded movie with muh reading steiner
Non-canon.
>Not a plot hole.
>Out of character
>Not a plot hole
>Okabe won't let her.
>Fucking man stays out of the lab for days
>Won't let her
>They can't fuck with the past too much because it will jeopardize what is a guaranteed future in every Alpha line.
>Implying they know the fucking future at this point
> the plot holes that steins gate has.
>The movie has the literal S;G in the name
>Non-canon.
>Because it's oh so convenient to deny something
Lmao, is this bait? The entire plot flew over your head
>Out of character
Apart from that being a non-canon alternate ending, he just breaks at that point. He can't take any more.
>Fucking man stays out of the lab for days
>Won't let her
Dude he literally snatches the scanner away from her when Mayuri is first killed. He doesn't want the others to suffer like he has so he makes it very clear that they shouldn't use the thing.
>Implying they know the fucking future at this point
As well as being unwise, it's literally impossible to stop Suzu's incomplete machine from arriving in and leaving 2010 unmolested by Rounders. She must make it to 1975.
Nothing Stein's;Gate is great.
It was boring and formulaic.
Like your mom.
it was never explained
Wrong
Man you got so much wrong.
1. The microwave's inner walls don't change the entire world, they behave like a flawed time machine. Gelbanas don't cause world line shifts. D-Mails are information being sent to the past, they only change the world if the person that received them changes the world.
2. Convergence. Future knowledge is a weapon, but cannot change the future on its own.
2 (2) (can you even count). They only use failure time machines and send out jellymen which does not meaningfully change the past.
3. There is only one world. Changing the world line only alters the frequency the world is upon. There is no multiverse. There is no paradox. You can't meet your time traveling past self if you're only time traveling because of your past self, as you didn't run into yourself the first time, and so it has to be on another world line.
>The plot-hole could be fixed if time travel to the 70's happened FIRST, then forward time travel to the 2000's to hang with parents happened afterwards
This is so fucking stupid. Suzuha was in the 70s before Okabe was even born. The entire world line is shaped from past to present at the instant of time travel. Paradoxes cannot occur.
"Sets" of world lines do not exist. World lines are only possibilities with a single one being actualized at any given time. The only way influence can spread from one to another is through Reading Steiner.
Not even a VN track you autist
>Ruka
How can you be this new?
Nope. Canonical name is Faris NyanNyan (yes, with the capital N, and no, there's no dash. Only Robotics;Notes DaSH.)
Are you launching using Japanese Locale (or Locale Emulator)? And are you using the Di-Patch?
>1
Except that's literally not what's happening. It is not doing that on it's own.
>2. This ability for one person (or a group of people near the phone-microwave) to remember other world-lines, but apparently NOT the future history of the world line they are currently now within.
Expanded upon in 0.
>2 (2)
This is not possible, at least not using Steins;Logic. Would be possible using ChäoS;Logic, but then again, everything is possible to explain using ChäoS;Logic. Even the dreadful movie.
Beautiful digits.
checked
The only thing that went wrong with S;G is that it was just unlucky to be in the same year as Madoka. It's just tough to air in the shadow of a masterpiece like Madoka.
But S;G is better than Madoka.
Kagari's entire existence.
Here, have a (You)
I wonder why anyone thought she was a good idea.
My theory always goes she was Okabe and Kurisu's daughter or smth, but that would've been a major fuckup and could just not remove her at that point in the writing of the plot, so they made her related to Mayuri instead.
I remember thinking she was Kurisu as a kid when I first saw her.
Her role had always been related to Mayuri since the start of the writing.
Fun thing is, we used to speculate that she ended up being Kurisu's mom.
