Scanlation thread

Gooks get to read things early, and I'm not happy about it.

That doesn't look right

But 啊 was the best part of Jojo.

Translator looking for an "everything else" to work on Eguchi-kun wa Minogasanai, or "Eguchi-kun doesn't miss a thing"
It's a manga about an elementary school boy with the shittiest super power ever: Being able to notice every little erotic moment that happens in daily life. It's short, simple, sweet and sexy. Basically guaranteed views

It's about a girl who's into masochistic shit and falls in love with a guy she found online who beats the hell out of her.

That sounds like something nns would make

The pleasure of being cummed inside.

I wonder how many people actually scan manga. You never seem to hear about them.

Yes, it's been a while I'm interested in this.

I've seen a few questions in these threads about scanners and settings.

Is there a difference scanning in color or grayscale when it comes to manga?

If the white balancing on the scanner is right (and you're using a decent scanner) your color scans ought to look grayscale. In which case, the extra channels for color data in the TIFF is needless bloat.

That said (and this depends somewhat on your scanner), it's possible that grayscale just takes one of the color channels and only uses that for generating the gray tones, rather than making a color scan and desaturating it. My scanner lets me pick which color channel (or IR, since my scanner can do IR for scratch removal on film negatives) the grayscale is generated from.

Nobody does it anymore unless the digital raw is shit or nonexistent.
