No way to really tell because we don't know how many of the episodes will be filler. The manga isn't going all that much further before the anime ends so even with a few filler episodes it should be caught up by the time it ends.

Not really. It shows almost every character in the show cooking, reguardless of gender. I think CLAMP animators just like drawing food and realized it was a popular subject recently. There were like 4 popular cooking shows last year.

That's true but Sakura is pretty much the only girl in the story that cooks consistently, Tomoyo helps her make cakes but her "thing" is sewing and Akiho started cooking only recently. Fujitaka, Touya, Syaoran and Kaito are all experts in comparison.

Maybe it's because when Sakura cooks, she always does it with love and for someone else. Fujitaka it's because he's a single parent and Touya because he had to help in the house too, Syaoran because he lives alone (in the manga, but now in the anime too), and Kaito is a butler. Akiho probably it's because she's an ojou-sama and never had to cook for herself, but now she wants to do it for Kaito, Tomoyo for similar reasons too.

All the original cards at the beginning of this arc were turned clear and unusable for an as of yet unknown reason. New cards are popping up and it seems likely that they're unconsciously being created by Sakura. The new cards are just there for plot purposes though. They're extremely easy to catch compared to the ones in the original series and there's more stuff going on than card capturing. There hasn't even been a new card in the manga for 2 chapters.

They are easy to catch because Sakura is unconsciously creating them or because she's already a powerful and experienced sorceress, it would be weird if at this point she wouldn't know how to handle a card capture.

I love the manga art but I have some issues with the manga and for the most part I thought the anime was making up for it. Except for the last episode, which was better in the manga but could have been great in the anime if only they put more effort into it and separated the Labyrinth capture.

Episode 9 was the best episode of the new lot and most of the comparisons with episode 3 were parallels and "look at how things have changed in 3 years" which I liked. Plus it gave us collaboration between Sakura and Syaoran and not just Syaoran rescuing Sakura while she stands there doing nothing like in the manga.

There's a difference between parallels and "here's the exact same situations and shots as the original episode, you remember it right?". And revealing Syaoran's costume this early basically ruins it. Syaoran's and Sakura's costumes clash and this same outfit is going to be used again later.

The botanical garden would've been just another picnic episode, which we already had this season. It's obvious they're going to repeat his costume like in the original and at that time he didn't change his cerimonial robes except for the sealed card. If I could choose I would rather see a repeat of that costume, as I'm not a fan of the current one. It was only cute for Blaze because Sakura had a matching one.
It's because manga logic says only Sakura's magic and the clow cards are effective against the clear cards, but it seems like they're changing that in the anime because his ice magic worked unless he subtly used Freeze, which would make sense.

Sakura's mother ghost still appears to various people both in the original and in clear card. Also she died when Sakura was 3 and if Akiho was her reincarnation she would be 3 years younger than Sakura instead of the same age.
