Yuzu is great here. The episode ends almost at the end of chapter 15. Meaning, episode 12 will have an entire chapter for itself. And probably some expanded scenes to close the anime.

Anime makes it clearer that match making shrine for the academy was all Himeko's doing.
I disliked how the anime left out showing that Mei was thinking of Yuzu when she decided to think of Sara's confession. Maybe they thought it made Mei seem spiteful, so they omitted it?
And of course the episode ends with the cliffhanger of Sara asking Mei for a kiss.
All in all, this arc is still weak, but somehow it seems better than in the manga.

I think Sara was a plot device to show Yuzu to take your chance whenever you have it, to avoid having any regret. Sara was perfectly aware that her confession could bomb, and after that, she saw that Mei wasn't into her during the date. At this moment, i am pretty sure she wanted to check if Mei was reciprocating Yuzu's feelings.

I didn't realise this until now but it's really matchmaking as in couples, not matchmaking as in a place where they make matches you actually light fire with. When I read the manga I thought Harumi was mad someone had chosen such a nerdy destination for them because what teenage girl would be interested in how matches are made. So I guess instead of a boring nerd eyebrows-chan was actually a pervert this whole time.

No, Yuzu even says she never confessed just this episode. Yuzu's told Mei before that she cares about Mei and her feelings for her are serious, but has never outright confessed. This is also why people think arc 4 is unnecessary, since Yuzu has clearly shown she loves Mei, Mei wanting Yuzu to say it out loud is only a formality. And an obnoxious one when Mei herself never told Yuzu that she loved her either.
