If you're talking about all those sudden announcements a few days ago (Vinland Saga, Karakuri Circus, Dororo, etc.) that was just a single anime producer announcing all their upcoming projects. There's a lot more companies coming to AnimeJapan.

Isekais have mostly replaced the battle academy harems as the big LN trend, so you're inevitably going to get a lot of adaptions. Just how it is.
Hopefully we don't get quite as many copy/paste isekais as we did battle harems a few years ago. Most of the recent ones haven't done very well; unless I'm forgetting something, isekai has yet to have an IS-tier hit.

I worked for a company attached to the property, having picked up and worked on the property with the knowledge that it was being vetted for anime production. We were told it wouldn't be soon, but it would happen eventually. That was about 3 years ago. So yeah, 5 volumes out in Japan now, with the sixth volume coming out sometime this summer/early fall and given that most 1-cour series adapt about 4-5 volumes worth of content. I would fully expect an announcement on the 6th tankoubon release.

Planning takes a while, especially when the series had only just come out with its first volume not long after. Kadokawa has groomed this series, and continues to treat it with lots of publicity. Not to worry, user, it's still in the works. I saw a lot of these types of commitments, and it is a slow-burn process in Japan, since business is really ass-backwards there in the anime/manga industry. Just takes a while.
