Not him, but you could get yourself hooked up in a Medicuboid if you somehow manage to convince people to let you use it . You'd have to work for a couple of years as to have plenty of money to afford using VR nonstop. and you'd spend your whole life chained to that bed, tending to a program while you shit, pee, and eat (through a feeding tube) in that bed.
It's not a very elegant approach by all means. It's depressing.
Eve no Jikan is the first anime that came to mind when you mentioned androids, but that's not a world I would want to live in with my waifu.
