It didn't, and while I like Yuru Camp I have no idea why it happens to be the CGDCT that breaks out and becomes popular with normalfags. The animation is mediocre, the characters aren't particularly memorable (especially Mugiclone and glasses) and plenty of similar anime have had better character dynamics.

K-On! Had one good episode. The Kyoto trip arc. Everything else was ok. There are many other anime such as Ping Pong that were more ambitious that surpassed K-On!
