Sure

Pic related for accuracy in Chinese history, too.

An actual King Arthur anime aired in 1979, my friend

>King Arthur
>historically accurate

Since King Arthur is hardly a historical character, it's pretty much as accurate as the original myth.

This show was so good.

I've never figured out why people think the era was filled with hairy old men.

Is Fate the most historically accurate version of Gilgamesh?

Attached: 0GvQHvC.png (512x724, 235K)

>not a man
>has a dick

What is the problem good sir?

Attached: merlin_by_gendo0032-dboiimx.png (1009x700, 709K)

So futanari, a woman with a male penis instead of her clit.

Sure, user.
King Arthur is a girl.
Mordred is a girl.
Lancelot went crazy for failing his king and not because he NTR his queen.
Merlin is a young cherry boy instead of an old beared wise wizard.
There is no Lady of the Lake, so Merlin is now gay and Lancelot have not parents.
There is no incest with Lady Morgana.

Fate is literally the worst version of every legend/tale/real people ever made.

>not because he NTR his queen.
I mean, he did that too.
>Merlin is a young cherry boy instead of an old beared wise wizard.
Merlin was always a cheeky bastard, though. Is the beard/his indicated age mentioned in any of the original texts? I thought his depiction as the wizened wise man was a corruption derived from one of the interpretations of Odin.
>There is no Lady of the Lake, so Merlin is now gay and Lancelot have not parents.
Vivian is mentioned in TM lore, she just hasn't shown up yet.
>There is no incest with Lady Morgana.
Um.

King Arthur is a reflection of the daily life, political stability, military doctrine, and social classes of the 5-6th century England that was reinvented over and over through word of mouth until properly documented by 13th century

King Arthur played vital role in the cultivation of literary art.

Fate franchise is just a shameless insult to historians and literary scholars who makes money by turning historical and mythological figures into nothing more objects for sex and their cringe fanfictions

I have a question
how good is martha lorewise?
What are the odds her and her master do adult stuff?

>there is no incest
Let me stop you there, you do remember in fate she still has mordred even though mordred is fuck ass stupid?

Her NP came to be because she punched the retard out of a dragon, lore wise she's physically really really Fucking strong.

Geoffrey of Monmouth did more damage to the records of British history than Nasu and friends could ever hope to accomplish, you ninny.
Fate is just a pop culture franchise made for entertainment and nothing more, Monmouth's account of the kings of Britain being passed off as actual historical fact took centuries to rectify.

Pretty decent, on about the level of Medusa.
Also she is pure, trying to hide her SM tendencies.

Martha is just Nasu's attempt at making Christian Reimu, go figure she's pretty strong.

The "canon" story of King Arthur is that he was a good king who got betrayed by Morded (his nephew) while on a campaign and shipped off to Avalon by the fays (including Morgan who is not his sister). Lancelot, Galahad etc don't exist and he has no connection to a Holy Grail.
Everything else is fanfiction written hundreds of years later and about as canon as Fate.

youtu.be/sUQAVrffU04?t=27m1s

That's the oldest account of the fictional character, if there was ever a historical character it was probably a Roman-Briton general or something who stuck around to fight off the Saxons, but ultimately there's not enough evidence to support much of anything.

Attached: 1500408363337.jpg (732x1000, 281K)

>Reimu
>No lewd armpits
He failed miserably

If you want to play it that way, then the Bible is the most historically piece of literature.

What sets the two appart is the intention behind it. Geoffrey is completely unreliable now but that is because he combined history with folklores, superstitions, oral tales, royal dynasty records, and pagan tales/poems. As accurate as he was, his intention was purely to stabilize the masses curiosity.

What is Fate? Nothing but a cashgrab for cheap otakus featuring the lowest possible denominator for art and literature.

Attached: Ushi1.png (270x382, 183K)

There is no 'canon' story, because the Arthurian lore come from all over the place.
Also, most of modern version accept that Morgana is the step-sister of Arthur, and daugther of Uther Pendragon and the wife of another king.

Attached: Smartharuler4.png (512x724, 328K)

I mean, those may be fanfics that became unavoidable as the tale was passed through oral tradition. But it is still canon based on cultural acceptance

Just look at the story of Homer's Iliad and odyssey which are based on actual historical wars marred by his imagination and religious belief.
Even Herodotus described Egypt as a magical place filled with flying snakes and such

>he Bible is the most historically piece of literature.
Did you miss a word out there?
>As accurate as he was, his intention was purely to stabilize the masses curiosity.
His work was a historia, he was supposed to write history. And he lied. A fucking lot, using material he had to have known was false. His lies were passed off as fact. That's far worse than anything TM has done.
>What is Fate? Nothing but a cashgrab for cheap otakus featuring the lowest possible denominator for art and literature.
And it's harmless, outside of conning otaku out of their money which they'd probably spend frivolously regardless. It didn't derail British historical records for around 400 fucking years.

Does Swimsuit Edition Martha have different attack animations? It's irritating that her design is fantastic, but her Rider animations are just generic Caster projectiles, even on JP.

Why is her crown so fucking tiny tho?

Her King power is severely diminished by this point.

The point isn't that it's historically accurate, but that original story was rewritten too many times to insert epochal ideas of the time completed with Gary Stu OCs like Lancelet or Galahad, which weakened the story and the character of Arthur himself especially. At the end of it is comes off as a sisterfucking dumb cuckold instead of the tragic and glorious character he is supposed to be. In Fate Arthur regained that role for the price of becoming a eroge heroine, but I honestly think that is the lesser of two evils.

Yeah, accidentally deleted "inaccurate"

It is not fair to compare the damages done by an unreliable historian to something that thrives in the era of information but there are far worse historical documents in history that impacted societal norms and political landscape. Almost all historical documents before Herodotus was written in such a way that it involves magic and religion as a matter of fact

*he comes off

Fate version of King Arthur is awful.
Type moon fetish of genderbending historical male figures have ruined not only the Fate franchise, but the whole Nasuverse they pretended to build.

> In Fate Arthur regained that role for the price of becoming a eroge heroine, but I honestly think that is the lesser of two evils.
Please tell me you don't seriously believe that. Right when they keep on making so many Saber clones

No

>Fate Arthur regained that role for the price of becoming a eroge heroine, but I honestly think that is the lesser of two evils.
It's a goddamn porn game.
You wan't something that glorifies King Arthur the way he should be? Try Sword in the Stone by disney

What about the big tited Saber?
She is like that because Excalibur doesn't exist for her, so she actually grow old.
Yes, Arthurian lore is a joke in the Nasuverse.

youtube.com/watch?v=GNXkmBpi8QI

I do believe that. The gender thing really doesn't matter much and the clones only prove that it's a good successful design. Apart from that in personality and especially (back)story she is a great version of King Arthur, much better than the "real" one after all the rewrites.
This doesn't factor in F/Zs banquet of Kings where she really shouldn't have herself get lectured by Iskandar who was about much less successful as her in governing a kingdom.

>Yeah, accidentally deleted "inaccurate"
Well, sure, a lot of it might as well be. There's still a fair bit of historical validity though since there's a decent range of contemporary records of varying sources, Roman, Greek, Egyptian, etc. Monmouth's is almost entirely bullshit, by comparison.
>It is not fair to compare the damages done by an unreliable historian to something that thrives in the era of information but there are far worse historical documents in history that impacted societal norms and political landscape.
Yes, but to say Fate is an insult to historians and scholars whilst using Arthurian Legends and the writings of fucking Monmouth of all people as a counterpoint is just bizarre. Fate is at worst a farce of history and myths, Monmouth didn't insult history, he actively damaged its records.
>Almost all historical documents before Herodotus was written in such a way that it involves magic and religion as a matter of fact
Herodotus predated Monmouth by almost 1500 years, that's not exactly a good metric. As recently as Tacitus or even earlier historians were weeding out stupid mythical bullshit that couldn't be proven, Monmouth has no excuse especially considering that he was a cleric who shouldn't have been promoting heretical magical bullshit in the first place.

Pretty strong, but she probably doesn't have as much physical strength in the Rider container. She is still able to summon a fucking dragon and able to use him as a shield or to attack, can blow people up with prayers according to the material and Miracle means she can make the impossible possible, so theoretically there is no battle she can'f potentially win

Do note he doesn't have Excalibur in those first stories. Rather, it belongs to Gawain. So if we went by them, Arthur shouldn't have the most famous sword in the world

>that webm
Why can't Hollywood into good medieval fights?

Ithought Martha had updates at least announced?

Thanks.
>Attacks are all punches and kicks
>Fucking Hokuto Shinken/Road Roller bullshit on Tarrasque as her NP
That's fucking fantastic. Pity her outfit isn't as good as her Rider version, that hat is kind of dumb. I wish FGO had GBF options like giving them different costumes.

mana transfer?

The game implies either she finally aged or the spear boosted her breast growth. It isb't clear which did which

I would if I could

Did she? When? I've had Martha on JP for ages and her attacks have always been Caster projectile garbage.
If they're fixing it to something different that'd be nice. At least have her use the cross as a melee weapon or something.

maybe

Attached: 1492530278665.png (1280x720, 649K)

Still a joke :D

Oh you bet it does

Attached: APEX.jpg (687x1000, 141K)

It's Caliburn. Drawing it granted her agelessness so she retained the body of a mid-teen girl, despite the fact that she should've probably been at least 30-odd by Camlann.

Sorry. I thought they did announce because in this comic they say they will get updated soon so they want to have one last round of fun by shooting bombs

Attached: image.png (1178x1694, 601K)

Yeah, but it doesnmt necessarily mean she'd have a body like that once she could continue aging

Attached: image.png (1334x750, 1.69M)

hpw come akkileus kosmos an a rank np could stop vasavi shakti an ex ranknp ?

So Otaku pandering now means an accurate depiction of characters from legends?

Surprisingly, yes. Gilgamesh was a colossal asshole in the myths, too. I'll point out that this is a man who STOLE THE FUCKING SUN. For no reason other than "Because I can, and you can't fucking stop me."

What would the Grand Servants of each class be? We already have caster and assassin. I'm thinking something like:

Saber - Miyamoto Musashi
Lancer - Sun Wukong
Archer - ???
Rider - Genghis Khan
Berserker - ???

Are you saying Gilgamesh can potentially summon Sun from his treasury in a monumental suicide attack like a Voltorb?

Attached: 1515014472051.png (834x818, 226K)

Dejavu

archer emiya
Berserker samson

>Rider - Genghis Khan
Khan could very well be Velber 03 or something, it's unlikely that it could be used as a Grand.

Nah, I was just pointing out the cause for them to make Arthuria becoming a titty monster. Hell, even now they aren't making accurate stuff. Did you look at Moses? He is an albino and David his descendant has green hair (real life was red apparently) and Solomon, his son, has white hair and brown skin

Attached: Jews.jpg (1280x720, 242K)

Hell yeah.

Saber is Sasaki

loljapan

Is this the most historically accurate anime version of Oda Nobunaga?

Honestly, I just want my gritty, historical anime, but everything is either made for kids or pandering to manchildren.

Attached: oda.png (318x159, 109K)

Yes but he doesn't cause he thinks it looks dumb.

Saved.

Attached: 234535313.gif (500x655, 299K)

Berserker Samson or Wukong, Archer that one chinese guy that shot down 9 suns, Saber some sort of Arthur

Attached: 1521989673762.jpg (619x875, 159K)

They've already revealed the Grand servants.

Attached: GrandServants.jpg (668x929, 157K)

Man that makes her and Shirou pretty creepy

The effect only lasts while the user has the sword. She lost it eventually, but Avalon gave the regen stuff anyway. And then she loses Avalon too later. So, theoretically she'd age anyway if she lived through the battle of Camlann

Attached: 1515127059981.jpg (736x865, 98K)

The best and the real king Arthur.

err...

Of course daddy

He's holding back.

>Welsh: Foreigner hating murder hobo
>English: Cuck who gets shown up by his own knights and needs Merlin to bail him out 24/7
>French: Incompetent Cuck who gets betrayed by his knights and shanked by his own inbred son/nephew
>Japan: Weaboo fap fantasy

Attached: dota.png (256x252, 76K)

Can heroine x be summoned or is she a joke? Also if she can how strong is she?

She is a joke, but she probably is elligible for summoning. Okita and Nobunaga started as jokes, but apparently they are actual valid servants.

She is pretty strong, though not as an assassin since she seals up her Presence Concealment. High agility combined with a powerful A+ NP is pretty powerful

Wait, what? Saber shows up in this? Why?

Moe Dred flashback, rest of the KOTR and Merlin make cameos IIRC. Think you also get to see Medea Lily but I dropped it after the first cour

Mordred flashback

Merlin, Lancelot, Gawain, Tristan, Medea Lily, Hektor, and El Dorado Berzerker all make cameo appearances.

>Gary Stu OC Lancelot
>his titular story, Lancelot, Knight of the Cart, is literally about him being an overly fervent retard

>oh shit the queen is in danger I've got to save her
>ride down the horse to death
>fuck now I can't get over there anymore oh hey it's Gawain just passing by look the queen is in danger will you lend me your horse
>ok
>ride down gawain's horse to death
>fuck now I can't get over there anymore oh hey it's Gawain -
> FUCK OFF LANCELOT THAT WAS MY HORSE
> uhhhhh
> hey here's a cart maybe I can hitch a ride

Lancelot was always meant to be a loser since his inception, no matter what jetfags tell you.

>El Dorado Berzerker
I know she did in the novel, but did she appear in the anime?
