I did buy it from the current EU sale since 9€ is nothing, it's completely different from how i expected it and also a little difficult.
For now i dislike ____Lia___ but i'm early in the game. Not as a videogame character, mind you, but as a person. I had the same reaction to Zero from Drakengard 3 and despite completing the game i always disliked her. Maybe this witch will change my opinion.

I remember the second stage being a buttrape festival with those shitty bugs that jump at you and pretty much 2 shot you in the beginning.

The main story is like 35-40 hours long, 60 hours if you go for the plat. There's a demo on PSN so you can see for yourself if you like it.

Metallia's development is VERY reminiscent of Zero but she becomes a lot more sympathetic.

Why does the game suddenly raises the boss levels by 10 levels? Did I miss a new area or something? Or am I supposed to level through the Tower of Illusion?

Is it one of the dark witches? The only time an area was massively over my level was after chapter 11 I think when you had to destroy the world metallia created to escape back into the real world.

You're supposed to skip them when you first encounter them. You actually need to kill all 3 of them for the true ending though.

It's the one in the sunken city, right? The platforms around her have switches you need to use and then a door behind her opens.

Technically you could get ridiculously strong at that point anyways since you can fully explore the tower of illusion at chapter 10. In the end you probably get like 120k-140k def and weapons with 80k attack, might take 5-10 hours to get there though.

Because she moved from the PS3 to the pay to play online machine. And I'll never buy that machine.

The game is still on PS3. Apparently it's broken though so I don't recommend that version.

I bought the game from PSN for PS3 only 9.95€, huge price drop compared to retail disks that were 60€ over year ago.

Check out the demo. Disgaea is a SRPG while this is more like a diablo clone.

The PS3 version? Not worth a dime. Enjoy random crashes to XMB which depending on your luck can end up happening continuously so that you can't progress at all.

PS4 version is fixed but if you bought it you'd support bad business practise.

Small changes like Metallica to Metallia really irk me in games.

Other than that the game is fun.

I got the plat in the PS4 version and haven't had a single crash.

I just had one crash in the PS4 version so far and I've been playing the game for 4-5 hours a day since saturday. Can't tell if it's the same bug or just bad luck.

No they didn't. They only added casual mode to help you clear the game faster ":D".

It's literally down to luck. I got my first one in Chapter 1 so I gave up on the game. 50€ wasted.

Never unless NIS will decide to do another rendezvous with it in the form of Disgaea 2 or their other, older series.

Not all countries offer the same price. 50€ was the cheapest here.

Most "niche" jap games come with +10€ pricetag here.
