I was wondering, it was really the mobile and the casual shit fault?

I was wondering, it was really the mobile and the casual shit fault?

Or maybe because we are playing movies?

basically this

Nintenbabies crying. Nothing to see here

One of these games is a 3 hour game.

Jesus fuck the Nintenshit salt is off the charts today

What do you even need to learn in star fox

so wait there was something in the bad section but it still but a 10?

They have been constantly butthurt for like 2 years. Every since it was clear the PS4 was going to run away with this gen, they have been salty as fuck.

Starfox zero
>nothing new

I love how you just glossed over this op. And the part where uncharted also has and always had secret paths that are more enjoyable and rewarding than the garbage in that dead systems dead game. Also what flight? That shit is an ON RAILS arcade game lol.

How does StarFox have a steep learning curve? It's literally an on-rails shooter.

Starfox zero was literally their last swan song and it turned out to be a turd.

What did you expect?

"I hate the game I have never played cause SONY"

The Sony money erases the negatives when adding up the score.

Based Naughty Dog. At this point they are one of the only developers that I trust to deliver a high quality game.

...when you are so desperate for games on your console that you delude yourself into thinking on rails trash looks better than an the goty top contender lol

lol I don't think the plus and minus points at the end of a fucking IGN review are much to base your view of the industry on

>Sony
>Money

Gamespot lad

It's not even an ign review. Ign is doing a review in progress. Honestly how much longer until that site dies off? They are hurting for views.

Have they EVER made a bad game?

wegh.

Point still stands I think.

>Uncharted 4 not even released yet and Sup Forums already bleeding out the anus

And the other has less than 3 hours of gameplay.

Too many people said on rails shooter. Now I want to play panzer dragoon orta

The jak series

I hate cinematic shit and SFZ was a decent game pulled down to way below average by a terrible control scheme

Nintendo brought this on themselves. Theyre still stuck in the 20th century and treat videogames like theyre toys. They are literally the reason playing video games are associated with being a manchild and until nintendo grows up they will forever fade into obscurity.

>people unironically act like Uncharted isn't a fucking garbage series

I love pushing forward while a bunch if scripted shit happens around me! Its like I'm really in a movie!

Oh no! Drake has fell off a boat/plane/cliff edge/rooftop/train/plane/car! Oh its OK he grabbed hold of the ledge at the last second!!!!

Not like Star Fox Zero deserves a better score, but Uncharted 4 is totally not a 10/10.

You sound like a sad and shitty person

The industry isn't dying. There's a market for everyone in the industry, and maybe certain markets are dying but not the industry overall.

>Uncharted 4
>story heavy game, it isn't trying to boast itself as anything else
>does it's job well

>Star Fox Zero
>gameplay heavy game, isn't saying it has a AAA narrative
>doesn't do it's job well, as it forced motion controls which hinders the main objective of Gameplay
>the people in the market don't like it

Am I wrong?

Uncharted 1 was pretty boring

You keep telling yourself that. The uncharted series usually clocks in a minimum of 10 hours of gameplay. That is minus cut scenes. SF is 3 hours and $60. And there are fags defending this?!

Although I agree that it's sad games like Uncharted are now being hailed as the prime example of a "good game", can we please stop pretending Star Fox Zero isn't completet shit?

If you're talking about Star Fox Zero in that context. It is not $60, please check your facts before you post.

As well as it shouldn't be. The game shouldn't be more than $15 since it is so damn short.

Holy fuck, the autism here is HUGE

1- Star Fox is not 60 dollars.

2- It is not a 3 hour game. Playing for 3 yours you will get less than half of the content. You need to play at least 3 times to go trough all levels. I don't believe that you guys can be so fucking dumb, so stop playing dumb.

3- While Star Fox is not good, it kind sad that a interactive movie is being our reference for next gen games.

4- Starfox is a failure, but it at least tried.

Don't worry you can still go play your 2D rpgs that all look the fucking same.

>gameplay heavy game
>literally on rails
Kek

...

>THE BAD
>Steep learning curve

>Uncharted 4 is totally not a 10/10.

How did you get an early copy?

Yea cause unlike nintendo. sony has found a way to transcend generic video game tropes.

Uncharted series as a whole is not 10/10. If Uncharted 4 is like previous Uncharted games, it's not 10/10. If it changes so much that it's not like previous Uncharted games, it's not 10/10.

So you didn't play it.

Your like a crazy person in the corner muttering "its not 10/10, its not 10/10"

face defeat. sony won.

steep learning curve for the wrong reasons, eg having to use the shitty gyroscope or get whiplash from looking at the shitty mobile screen and your tv

I just explained why you don't need to. Either it is a true Uncharted game or it isn't, either one is a flaw.

You can't rate a game with having zero playtime.

The paradox exists either way. Explain how it isn't true.

that would be "bad controls" user

I don't even like Uncharted but saying it's literally impossible for UC4 to be a 10/10 is insane.

Explain.

It's tough, but once you get good it makes you feel like a god and every other Star Fox game feel like snail food.

>cinematographic

It must be cool, getting to make up your own words.

kuku

All of their "Games" are mediocare. gameplay wise. acting and cut-scenes and the art is top nich

>gundam breaker still doesn't have reviews
What the fuck, even DOA got reviews and it was import only. What the fuck.

>asspained nintendo fanboy
>actually goes to ign

At least you have a Zelda stream to look forward to this year!

>so wait there was something in the bad section but it still but a 10?

No game is perfect. Meaning with your logic no game should ever get a 10. In other words you want a review system with a score that can never be used, so why not simply make it a 0-9 scoring system? Or would said 9 turn into the "perfect" game again?

You know they existed before the PS3, right dumbass?

>people actually defending uncharted

So when is Naughty Dog going to stop showing contempt for their pre Uncharted properties?

I'm more shocked that people are defending star fox.

They didn't even own the Crash licence yet you magically expect them to make more Crash games, is that it?

They even show contempt for uncharted.

>we're too mature for fat drake

If anything, they just said fat people aren't mature.

Remember when console war flaming would be deleted on sight and Neofags and Nintendo/Sony/Microsoft/etc. fanboys would be told to fuck off and banned for periods of time?

Yeah, me neither.

> The uncharted series usually clocks in a minimum of 10 hours of gameplay
Correction, they have about 10 hours of RUNTIME.

I haven't played it, but I'm willing to believe that the Mediterranean taco controls are getting more flak than they deserve.

>Correction, they have about 10 hours of RUNTIME.

Uncharted 2 has sub 1h30m of cutscene time.
Overall most people beat the game at around 11 hours total.

Does the game require skill to beat? Is there any replay value?

By making Dude Raider?

Yeah all that stuff is right next to the goalposts you just moved

They're "getting more flak than they deserve" in the sense that all the journos are focusing on them as their major criticism when the game has many more glaring faults than unintuitive controls. It's no surprise, though, since most of the hacks in the industry probably only know of the Star Fox memes and have never actually played one before Zero.

For everyone who actually gives a shit about the series, though, it's just thoroughly empty all around, from the bland sound and visuals to the unrewarding unlockables.

>Does the game require skill to beat?

That's subjective. I thought Dark Souls 3 was easy as hell but people are complaining about it being hard.

>Is there any replay value?

You really shouldn't be asking me that since I rarely replay games. I stopped doing that around the NES/SNES era.

ITT: butthurt Nintenbabies crying about people calling their new shit game bad.

Uncharted 4 probably is not a 10/10 though.

Is it at least worth playing just to play? Like not in a completionist sense but just for fun?

Stop deluding yourself.

Wiiu has awesome games like splatoon and mario makers but starfox was a fucking failure.

If the new zelda game looks shit then im fucking done with nintendo

it's the reviewers fault for being shit

Sure but looking at the reviews it's getting a high score based purely on presentation. While a core mechanic of a TPS, that being the cover system, is in the negatives column. I think the Uncharted series is alright. I have some personal gripes with it but I can still enjoy the game. The overall problem is that a core mechanic of the game is in the negatives column but it gets a 10/10.

>Uncharted comes out
>literally nothing but bitching on Sup Forums about games turning into movies
>massive trend towards more cinegraphic games
>Sup Forums now rabidly defends it

Is this the power of blind fanboyism? What the fuck happened to this place?

the star fox game looked like it sucked, but the uncharted game also does not look like a 10 at all.
Its not the game industry, its the game journalism that you're complaining about.

sony fanboys took over

Care to refute OP instead?

I'm not getting ps4 or Wiiu, I don't have a dog in the race.
Well, I guess I am in favor of gameplay so maybe I'm not that impartial.

The score generally reflects the satisfaction of the reviewer.
Some give it 8, some give it 9, some give it 10. At the end of the day it's simply a good game.

Buyer's remorse seems to be incredibly strong with sonyponys so they need to justify their wasted money and hopes with something.

>Own WiiU and PS4
>No interest in SFZ or U4

Why did I even buy these things

Star Fox is too gamey, a relic of the past.

Uncharted and modern gaming cater to my sophisticated tastes, with superb story telling, lifelike characters, and visually stunning graphics that tingle the senses.

We don't need so much gameplay to make a game good. Games are about the experience, and theres no better experience then one that challenges your mind, not your reflexes.

there are actually people that unironically think this. I

If Nintendo just bribed a little more

>>massive trend towards more cinegraphic games
>>Sup Forums now rabidly defends it

see The Uncharted series isn't cutscene heavy at all.

Take Max Payne 3 for example. That game has about double the amount of cutscene time and they're all unskippable. You can draw similar comparisons for many many games and Uncharted series will generally not come out on top.
Do you know why? Because the goal the devs set is to make as much of the game playable, to make what other devs turn into cutscenes into gameplay instead.

You're the one showing your bias here.

The gameplay is cinematic tho

>The gameplay is cinematic tho

It's designed to give a cinematic feel yes, but it's still gameplay. This is because it's paying tribute to old adventure movies and shows like Indiana Jones, Tales of the Gold Monkey, etc.

You understand why that's bad at least, right?

>there are actually people that unironically think this.
I know, right? People are actually delusional enough to think SF0 is good.

It's also a shitty third person cover based shooter with retarded AI.

Sony don't even need to pay off reviewers. If it's from Naughty Dog, it's getting perfect 10s all around, just because it's from Naughty Dog.

Why is it bad?

>a cinematic feel is bad
Guess we should also get rid of cutscenes. Actually graphics can be pretty distracting too, need more minimalism to not impede on pure input.

fuck off.

>You understand why that's bad at least, right?

Why exactly is that bad? Tell me why that mountain car chase scene from 2 I posted was objectively bad.

The logical fallacies begin, I see. Well you'll get no more (you) from me.
