Sony won by fucking up the least. On its own, PS4 does nothing that makes someone want it. It doesn't even have any exclusives to market. but when you enter the market saying you want a new console, look at the Wii U, look at the Xbone and then look at the PS4. All you can see is that the PS4 is the least cancerous.
Most people don't consider PC a viable platform choice because of how anti consumer it is. But it is all around the best choice
