Her mech guns are RIDICULOUSLY underpowered and they're her only offence in mech mode. They can fire indefinitely, yes, but their range is melee-tier and their damage is worse per shot than Mercy's pistol. The dinky pistol she gets when she's out of the mech is genuinely significantly better than her mech's guns.

Scratch that, more like 4-5 seconds. All she has is mobility and survivabilty but she can't use that to help the team, if she had damage outside of her Jap-Korean kamikaze pilot move she could be a good hit and run character. It's sickening that a DV.a will lose to every character in the game no matter how good you are unless they suck major ass. German man can two shot Lucio in less than 2 seconds. SJW can do the same, if not faster if she laser beams his face, Roadhog can fucking instant kill him. Not to mention she isn't even a good tank, she has no self preservation with her best ability being able to flee the battle and heal off a health pack, while SJW can make herself (and someone else) fucking invincible, Dr German bro is a wall (so is monkey man) and broteam is a pocket medic tank.

Shes under powered, to rub it all in her shitty main weapon also slows her down so shes not even the most maneuverable. Shes literally only good at fleeing.

In real life one of the cornerstones of good tank design is mobility. It's why the US put a thirsty giant turbine engine on the M1.

The other cornerstones are of course armor and firepower. In a perfect world a tank would have the armor of a reinforced bunker, with the speed of a wheeled vehicle, with the firepower of an artillery gun. But in reality you can only pick 2 out of 3 at most, or only 1/3 if you're not a first world country that can afford expensive tanks.

All she has is mobility, but she's a fucking tank, and deals shit damage (worse than any other tank ironically) so she can't act like tracer or genji.
She also can't protect her team as well as other tanks.

I don't see anyone strapping cap guns to our M1 tanks. Her problem aren't her abilities, her health or anything. It's her shitty primary weapon that is worse than her pistol and the worst weapon in the tank class (At least Winston can go through Reinhardts shield and AOE pretty well)

She can be if you get yourself into uneven situations. Is the enemy player a low HP character or an already damaged tank character? Are they alone? Shield up, charge in, and shotgun them in the face. Is the enemy player a tank character at full HP? Is there more than one character at the destination? Do not charge in and plink at them from safety or try to find a different location with an isolated target.

Reinhardt cant charge and attack backliners like widowmaker or hanzo easily, which is d.va's job. You don't 'tank' with D.va protecting your team, you just flank the enemy team and then draw their aggro while using the defense matrix giving space to your team kill them.

I think that maybe Blizzard just needs to tighten her weapon spread a little. Her weapons are useless at far range, but decent at point blank. But that puts her at way too much danger.

Her shield desintegrates projectiles and it project itself in front of her. If you actually 'hit' the projectiles with it, you literally destroy the bullets. Even the junkrat pipes or pharah's rockets won't explode dealing no aoe damage.

If you cover reaper with your shiled while he's ulting, he deals literally 0 damage.

You can't flank effectively because you are tied to the ground with reinhardt. D.va is much more efficient because she can get there flying, outside of the fov of the enemy, not to mention shes much faster.
