Fume Knight
Orphan or Ludwig.
Definitely not NK
Ornstein and Smough.
Only ones that made me drop the whole game for a while.
Orphan
Toughest in BB which is the toughest Souls type game.
Orphan
>LMAO just let me 1 hit kill you in ng+ :))))
Fucking artificial difficulty i tell you
>tfw i beat him solo today
Pinwheel.
You sound squishy
Ludwig van Moonlight
>Trains your muscle memory to dodge quick attacks
>Second phase fucks up your timing by adding quick and slow attacks with delays
>Fuckton of damage
>Lots of HP
>Fucking up once or twice means death
>Doesn't have bullshit one-shots, just tight dodging window on ONE attack (charge) and the rest is learning the patterns and blind spots
>Tests how much you can learn in one fight by adding a second phase that is a direct opposite to the first one
Whether it was on purpose or not, he is gameplay-wise one of the most well designed bosses in all Souls games. Not to mention that the mere thought of who he IS as a character in the story just adds that much more impact to the fight.
He's the Healing Church's Gherman.
Who do you think is the handsomest boss?
I personally got stuck on Biggie Smalls and Ludwig the longest, but I think Orphan of Kos is mechanically the most difficult. After playing every Soulsborne game a stupid number of times, he's one of the few bosses that still kinda worries me.
Nameless King slapped my shit around for an hour or so, but he's actually not that bad once you get used to him. I find Champion Gundyr harder than him.
Gwyndolin desu senpai
the Camera
You have complete control of the camera. If you're having trouble with it, it means you are shit.
That faggot Taurus demon killed me about 10 times but all the other bosses either died on my first time or took at most 3
definitely the bed of chaos
Not fucking Nameless Shitter, for sure. Maybe Orphan or Ludwig.
lol one of the easier bosses in ds2.
>dragon flies over you for one move that isn't even an attack, and doesnt even have a follow up attack or anything
>camera unlocks
WAA WAA THE CAMERA IS RUINING THIS FIGHT ARTIFICIAL DIFFICULTY
Seriously though it has no impact on the fight whatsoever.
Something about me fighting Orphan just clicks and I never have trouble with him, even killed him at NG+6 in only two tries
Feels all right man. I think DeS gankgoyles took me the most tries out of any boss across all 5 games.
No. He was tough, but an 8/10 on the hard scale when compared to at least 4 9/10's and a couple 10/10's. Orphan of Kos being the hardest. Literally fuck the Orphan of Kos. Fuck that fucking homo.
Armored Spider
Nothing is more deadly than the unknown, and nobody knew anything about Demon's Souls.
Did you mean to reply to someone else?
>this
>tough
kill urself my man
i meant to say "why do retards whine about this so much, dude" or something idk
probably would have made more sense to respond directly to the baby
If we're excluding FRC dungeons I would say Laurence from BB and Pontiff on Souls 3(depending on what you have available)
Fucking this, my major enemy on that fight was the frames dying the whole time because my computer is shitty
Everyone says he's hardest but I think I had more trouble with Alonne than him. I've only beaten them with one character, though.
fume knight
not even orphan killed me more that 6 times. fume knight took me 12 tries
on first tries I died about 40 times to manus, 30 to O&S and 20 to flamelurker
nothing else has given me much trouble
haven't played BB though
After co-oping through Nameless at least 50 times, I've found that the people who die to him the most are the kinds of people that fall into one of these habits.
Shield forever and never put it down unless to attack.
Or they roll mindlessly while Nameless is readying an attack rather than rolling when Nameless is actually attacking. Like Nameless brings his swordspear up and they just start rolling and don't stop until the attack is done, which usually results in them being hit.
Both types of people die while trying to heal off that hit.
>game is not hard when already know the fight
wow user you are so good at this
>it's a "my hardest boss is harder than your hardest boss" thread
>His hard boss isn't harder than my hard boss
Lmao
play BB if you can. best story, music, bosses
>that mid-fight cutscene
>music ramps up to 11
Fume K***ht
if you dont know how to fight at that boss yet then you should kill urself my man
>implying Covetus demon is harder than Orphan of Kos
>Telling someone to commit suicide over inadequacy at a videogame.
Come on guy, is that really necessary?
go back to red dit
To qualify for hardest boss it still needs to be hard to execute even after you've learned it. Plenty of bosses are just hard to learn and after you've beaten them once they're mostly trivial in subsequent playthroughs.
Man bosses in DS3 were underwhelming as fuck except for champion Gundyr, Lothric Prince, Pontiff and Aldritch
>still thinks reddit is censored
Go back to Kindergarten, as you've clearly skipped out on basic fucking manners and the ability to properly interact with other people.
>champion gundyr
>not underwhelming
>i can't time my rolls
>i can't parry telegraphed attacks
I think you misread
only Pontiff was hard out of those
I quoted the wrong guy, it was meant for
Ah, gotcha
Orphan isn't artificial difficulty. You under leveled because you think you have to prove something instead of upping your vitality and having the best boss fight ever. Its one of those fights where I got my ass kicked over and over but every time I just got more and more excited and every death was deserved
I don't think anyone's gonna argue that, but I'm definitely with Gundyr was a massive disappointment after I read everyone on Sup Forums creaming their jeans over his bitch ass for a week; meanwhile that chode Dragonslayer Armor gave me a hell of a lot more grief than I was prepared for.
It's funny to me that you say that because he was the easiest for me of my shitty list
Mostly because he is aggressive as fuck, bullshit 5 hit combo and that fucking kick and elbow and thinking in retrospect i should had used better armor than the firekeeper set
I only found the butterfly thing helping him to be annoying but the armor was really easy too
>EUUUUUUGHH
What did he mean by this?
FUCK my words
His moveset is literally Artorias on steroids, my only concern is that he hits fucking hard on ng+ and my health was never a problem until Kos
>What did he mean by this?
The same thing as a human child babbling and screeching, it's just nonsense that can't be put into words because Orphan is basically a toddler, he might be large but all his time was spent in a rotting corpse and he has no outside experience or knowledge, you basically just kill a retarded manchild with super powers.
>EEAYYYYYYYYYAH!
The Orphans screams are etched into my psyche
>BB
Fuck off pleb, adults are talking
He's an infant, probably died very very young. I love the orphan, it's such a powerful boss fight, really intense and at the same time sad and tragic. Fits the game like a glove
>THAT NO PICKLE PEE
Why does he shoot highly damaging bubble gum all over the place in his second phase?
The hammer always seemed like shit compared to serrated weapons. Am I missing something?
this guy right here, like 50 fucking tries before i had to summon dudes and even then, half of them died constantly.
>soulsborne
Laurence by far. I still hate that bastard.
Orphan never gave me any trouble.
Sunburned Albino.
not him but I tried posting the same text a few days ago and it was marked as spam and 4chins refused to let me post it
Ludwig. No question.
But hopefully you realize that this is an rpg with a wide variety of potential builds and different runs can almost feel like you're playing another game.
I think Bloodborne is the only one people will be able to sort of agree on because the build variety is much smaller.
Damn that's a good edit.
do not anger the sonybros
Go make a similarly easy win video for Orphan, no user, I'll wait. Go head prove me wrong.
It's the truth. Bloodborne is probably the best souls game imo but you can't argue that the build variety isn't nearly non existent compared to the other ones.
Am I the only one who thinks Ludwig is not even that hard?
For me it's Flamelurker. Now grated if I go back and play now hes not to much of an issue but when Demons Souls came out? Was stuck on him for a fucking week. No other souls boss has stumped me like that
Yeah, this. Ludwig is the best boss I've ever fought in video games, not just Souls. That fight just never gets old.
No votes for ancient dragon? Retarded health with even more retarded hit boxes.
>MOMMY!!!!!!!
I honestly forgot about that boss because of how horrible it is.
Bloodborne has more build variety than quality souls 3
I'm torn between Allant, Manus and Orphan, since they're the only ones I had to actually try a lot. I'm probably gonna go with Orphan, probably just because there's no blocking in Bloodborne and you have to get gud.
No Watchdog of the Old Lords in the Defiled Chalice dungeon?
Yeah sure whatever you say bud.
>Light armor guy with hammer
>Light armor guy with cane
>Light armor guy with saw.
This is true. I had problems beating Manus, so I just decided to go full Havel with Iron Flesh on him and he became a non-issue. In Bloodborne you don't have a lot of choice.
I try to roll at just the right time but his attacks are so odd and have a bit of last second hesitation that baits me into an early roll. On top of that the 1st stage with the dragon is unfair, i cant see jack shit with the bad camera angles and end up wasting half my estus beforehand if the RNG gods hate me.
Needed a summon to beat the fucker.
>light armor guy with greatsword
>light armor guy with straight sword
>light armor guy with spear
BB has more weapon types
Hammer has bonus damage vs unholy enemies which is pretty much exclusively cainhurst enemies so it's fucking trash for most of the game.
>anything other than quality build is not viable
Frigid Outskirts + Lud and Zallen with no lifegems.
>Everyone plays light armor
>PVP is the only aspect of the game
>Shields don't exist
>Magic miracles and pyromancy aren't a thing
CRF HMPH is by far the hardest boss, it's not even a competition.
Yes. You can in fact play the game without darksword or estoc. I know it may be hard to believe.
>Toughest in BB which is the toughest Souls type game.
>being retarded
maybe you want to argue they're of better viability on average, but dont say objectively wrong shit
bloodborne.wiki.fextralife.com
darksouls3.wiki.fextralife.com
Just look at the difference
>bb has 27 main hand weapons
>Das3 has over 100
Nameless. Rekt my fucking shit I tell you but it was so satisfying when I finally beat him.
If the only metric you're going by is the viability of various builds Dark Souls 2 would be the best game in the franchise.
What is the hardest souls game if not bloodborne?
I've been using a lothric greatshield in one hand and the butcher knife in the other, for some reason that weapon seems to chain-stagger people on every single swing
Feels unbalanced honestly
