Shooting and car control was alot more fun in 4.

4 has more technology and better glitch exploits.
5 was kinda disappointing considering they had way more computing power available to work with for a shit load of TECHNOLOGY.
Hell, even RDR had more TECHNOLOGY then GTA4.

I'm really tired of GTAs format. It's basically drive a to b, make some lines related to coke to feel gangster, and have some horrible humor in between. (Except Trevor)

Isn't this supposed to be pinnacle of gaming? Why can't there be more complex and engaging controls instead of this Barbie Phd bullshit.

Lets settle this once and for all. We can surely agree that:
Driving: IV (fuck you arcade fags)
Shooting: V (tho IV was "meatier")
Story: IV (Its not le randumb and somewhat revolves around today's world problems)
Multiplayer: Id say tie until cuckstar lets make us our own private servers, then V
Map: Depends really, if you prefer LA then you surely like V map more and vice-versa
Characters: Imo V but IV's were good too, just sometimes too boring
Mods: IV for now, I guess V will get better with time
Graphics: V no doubt
Technology: IV, fuck cuckstar for fucking up euphoria and some of those little quirks that made IV so good
Overall: Id say since we have no gamechanging DLC, IV. Vanilla is piss boring in either of them but IV at least had TLaD and TBoGT. After the first major expansion for V maybe sides will change. If things this guy leaks are true, loading music already gets me hype. youtube.com/watch?v=gJpFxcTgyVs

Well, IV's multiplayer was centered around gamemodes mostly. V improves upon it but shitters, shit ass servers and other fuck ups make it tie for me. With private servers V wins easily, you have to embrace it.

RDR and Bully are way better than grand theft shit

This lack of technology was a glaring oversight in 5, compare shooting someone in the legs in 4 and 5 for example.

They somehow made shooting people feel really shitty. In V, they would just lump over with the same boring ass animation with a big X and kill indicator. Not satisfying at all

I really liked how most people you would down in IV wouldn't be neccesarily dead, V does this to a certain extend but they die from it.

This, I liked roleplaying in 4 so sometimes I'd just like to beat someone to the ground and not kill them. In 5 when they're down, they're dead - so basically punching someone in the back of the head as trevor kills them.

I read they pumped the air out of the room so the little monkey wasn´t getting any oxygen. Could be wrong though.

V did the big things better, the world, variety of cars, etc.
IV had lots of great but smaller things like the how the Euphoria-engine works, car physics etc.
Overall I like V better, but it left me a bit unsatisfied since they left out those small good bits from IV.

i still like 4 a lot, but the whole city environment can get boring after a while. 5 has a better map IMO

GTAIV is not even 3rd best GTA.

Easily IV. V was good, but not what it could have been. V turned out to be a fagfest MP game with a half assed SP. IV is way better than V and that's before you include the DLC for IV.

V was so disappointing that I now doubt Rockstar when it comes to GTA.

I thought 4 was just too boring, compared to San Andreas. Barely any customisation, not enough vehicles (where are my planes?) and Liberty City has always been my least favourite GTA city.

I haven't played either game. Grand Theft Auto V is better, because it has more stuff you can do, and the graphics are better. So is the soundtrack.

In what aspect? Campaign and map is more well made in V than IV, but physics, shooting, and driving is more fun in IV than V
