There's no reason to do bodyweight exercises unless that's all you can do.

If you just want to do exercise then running, cycling etc. is far better because you'll actually build useful endurance much more effectively than bodyweight push-pull exercises.

If you want to build strength and stimulate muscular growth then lift with weights or don't bother.

And whatever you do, don't expect to get stronger if you're not eating a caloric surplus. You will get better at the movements, which will translate to strength, but only up to a point. Your body can't build more muscle without more energy.

If your country doesn't even have nuclear arsenal then you might as well kill yourself.
