I actually really liked Mafia 2, even though the game is really basic, and i pretend to play mafia 1 one day but i don't see MAfia 3 beeing a good MAFIA game.

It looks more like a a mix of gta and saints row than an actual mafia game.

As somebody who loved the first 2 games (Mafia 2's atmospheres kinda makes up for the less stellar gameplay in my opinion).
The 12 minutes of gameplay they demoed didn't excite me in the least
