Minecraft's new update is version 1.9. Its called the Combat Update and it rebalances tools and weapons. This is just icing on the cake however, because this means that the next update is going to be Minecraft 2.0.

Whoa... You're right!

you can do math. fantastic

There's literally nothing preventing a 1.10

Minecraft 1.9.1

isn't that equidistant to 1.1?

This so hard

Are you actually mentally handicapped? Do you think any major problems or feature requests you have will magically be fixed/added just because it moves into 2.0?

Kill yourself.

Lmao for a second I was as retarded as OP

no because software versioning numbers aren't decimals

they're major/minor/etc revision numbers separated by a period

came to post this

also, this

>Version numbers are decimals

Well they magically ruined the game with a single update so its not too much to hope they can fix it the same way.

It's only meant as the 10th iteration of the first release. It isn't actually a decimal.

The only way to fix Minecraft is to remove hunger. Have foods just heal again.

Agreed. Its not even optional.

What was the last good update?
Wasn't it 1.7.3 or something like that?
Man, those were the days....

Also,
>tfw its been so long and so hopeless that even floating islands guy stopped posting.......

Didn't floating islands get added to the game? I thought he left because his purpose had been fulfilled

Don't think so. My little sister plays it now and I haven't seen any floating islands.

1.10 has already been confirmed by devs as the next version number anyway.

...

No they added an "extreme" mode where everything is vertically stretched.

You are like the batman, not the original, but you protect us all the same.

Update 1.8 is underrated. I actually like the features that they added. 1.7.3 and 1.8 definitely sunk most of my time. It sort of died for me when the started adding enchanting and all that jizz jazz.

I think they forced the RPG elements too much. Hunger was a cool thing to manage. It added limits. The green beads and jewish villagers were lost on me.
