I got 9 subscribers. I'm working on new content tonight because I seem to wake up around 2 AM most days. Here's what just uploaded. It's from my Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines Let's Play. I'm playing a Malkavian and using the 9.5 Plus Patch - youtu.be
Just finished recording the raw audio and video for a 7-minute review of the Kingdom Hearts mobile game.
Will be finishing up the editing for all of that today and will be uploading it.
It's in vain, though, and I know it is, because none of my videos ever get any sort of traction or promotion regardless of their quality.
I basically just do it for fun at this point. There's no way I could ever get famous or anything, as nice as that would be.
my pal's channel
I followed you guys. You'd better start putting out more content, i'm running out of stuff to watch.
>10 subs
>30min videos
>uploads daily
>little amount of views
Feels bad man
Yeah. that feeling is kind of fucking terrible.
I still have to find an audience for my channel, but it's still fresh and only got one vid, so no problem. I'm working on a review series covering the entire Metroid franchise. Only vid up so far is my lengthy, in-depth video review of the original METROID:
youtu.be
On the side, I'm working on a few L4D2 clips for my other, main channel.
Don't give up. I can understand it must be frustrating to have so little recognition, but you're already right in the content production pipeline, all that is missing is the break-through. One of these days, one of your videos... so keep up the good work!
Thanks for the words of encouragement!
I'm following everyone that posts, btw. Just for the sake of fairness.
Starting to think the only way to get views or subscriber's is to talk, but no one would understand my Scottish accent.
Go say that to JackSepticEye.
>pony pic
He deserves it
Well, I have a thick german accent and it's interfering with my work, but there's nothing that can be done about that. I added subtitles to my vid though, to make sure everything's understandable.
Just uploading random invasions in DS3 for me to watch later and see my improvement
Surprisingly one video has some 50 views with some random guy commenting "Nice puns"
I guess he liked the title or something
personally i think the pony pic is clever. it instantly assures that anyone who does the whole pony thing will "click" with him. it's all about subtle pandering to a fanbase.
link it
200 subs but fuck this shit. It's not worth all the editing I put up with when you could just scream infront of a camera like a retard and get 100 times more views.
Change the god damn avatar
m.youtube.com
Pretty trash I know, but taking a break to try get better at editing and actually having content that isn't shit meme material.
link it tho
Ehh if unedited individual invasions are your thing, knock yourself out
youtube.com
Post your puns!
Exigent content never attracts broad attention. If you wanna have everyone excited for your vids, you'll have to go with the lowest common denominator. But I actually think sacrificing a few viewers in return for better videos is the superior option.
I made 'quality' content for years and I barely got an audience.
I'm gonna do meme shit now desu.
This.
I made a nepnep video.
You tell me :^)
Fuck off trap
Don't make any videos anymore and I have an autistic URL but here you go.
>Made a couple of funny dark souls videos years ago before PC release
>100 subs
>A couple tens of thousands of views
>Want to make more videos, funny stuff
>Can't come up with anything since all I play are shit games like dota and i'm bad at video games
>Spend all my time wishing I could just stream, hanging out and joking around with a couple hundred people
I just don't have an interesting personality outside of sex jokes and anime memes with my friends. Maybe I should do joke reviews, or anime reviews. I don't even remember the last time I finished a game.
youtube.com
Its ok.
So far I am at 50 subs, making a huge video, and hoping to reach the 100 subs for the custom name thingie. Here are some videos.

maybe I should just drop the walls of text for voice over but than again I kind of prefer it this way.
>these are the people who prefer V over IV
I haven't played 4 yet. its sat in my library for years now. From the little bit I did play moving around was way better. My person falls over nonstop on the stupidest shit like a little street curb.
Couple of my recent videos got lucky with 40K+ views.
Too bad they're YLYL webm compilations and I chose not to monetize them to avoid legal problems.
Feels bad, man.
Not vidya related though.
I've subbed everyone that posted a channel in this thread.
Hopefully you guys will have some luck in the future!

Used to render out video and upload them. Now all I do is just uploading my twitch vod.
>that x-files opener
Damn, I love your vid. Reminds me of a L4D2 clip I once underlayed with x-files music. Keep up the good work!
What does Sup Forums look for in a YT Gaming channel?
I wouldn't mind starting one but I'm not sure how to differentiate myself from the competition.
just make something interesting.
look up the guy that just started doing videos about "Games that should bang."
Interesting concept, interesting intros, decent speaking voice, 10/10.
How's this for an intro?
I got a shit ass channel where I make shit ass videos pretty much just for my online buddies. We joke around and then the product ends up being a shit ass video.
i dont have the intuition to do anything. i have the skill, but i dont know what for.
Good I edit for Cowchop
Good editing, straight to the point commentary without any "AY YO WASSUP YOOTOOB ITS YO MAYN HERE FOR ANOTHER EPISODE OF HOL' UP" ffs we can see the fucking title and content that I haven't seen a hundred times already.
That's pretty much the biggest things I look for, too many people try to be some spastic sports commentators on crack, we don't have enough people with a nice and calm voice
thanks user
I do video game reviews, countdowns and a little bit more. I got 350 subs as of now and about 20 something videos. I am doing alright.
I like it, short enough that it won't hinder watching the video itself
Now you got 351.
Thanks dude, I hope you enjoy my content.
Make that 352
Really well made
Yeah! I've been looking for new stuff to watch. Keep uploading and I'll keep watching.
Fuck off, Trevor.
It's going okay. You can check it out here:

Just a bit of forwarning I have a facecam for my videos (besides Dark Souls 3). I game, my dogs bark. Its all good fun.
Thanks. I think the mgs alert sfx is a little overdone, but i needed something that works in 1-3 seconds and has some personal relevance. I played the shit out of mgs when iwas a kid. Don't give a fuck about mario for example so I"m not gonna have a coin noise or something like that.
I think I could do that, my voice is pretty damn deep and bassy so that might be soothing for Sup Forums to listen to.
Damn, thank you for that. I should hopefully have a review coming up of this game tonight.
Deep bass radio voices are sex for the ears, please
Thank you for your kindness.
Recordded the voice for my first video but cannot start editing because I have no experience with video editing tools and I don't have the necessary tech for capturing gameplay from PS3. Guess I'll steal some gameplay footage from YouTube channels.
i've actually been looking for someone to collab with, honestly. Not that my content is any good, but hey. Maybe sometime in the future i'll advertise looking for a collab.
Use footage from trailers and commercials if at all possible. Don't use footage from other people's youtube channels without asking permission first. It could get your channel shut down.
i make dumb shit and i never want youtube to be a career
watch my shit tho
Oh, okay. That's actually safer. Thanks for the tip. Or hell, it didn't occured to me but I can just get the PC version of the game and use video grabbing software.
Subbed.
Sorry for taking so long to reply, I was trying to record some Morrowind but I kept on having problems with commentary and such.
Thank you, I appreciate it. Another Morrowind video is uploading as I type this, and I'm considering other series to add as well.
I've only had this channel a few weeks. I had one previously that I had for two years that only had 13 subscribers, but I deleted it because of personal reasons.
Not right now, but if I ever get to where I could join an MCN or make a living off of Youtube and stop being disabled then I'll do that.
That's not my intention though. I'm doing this to have fun. If I make good content that people want to watch, my reward is them watching and maybe subscribing. So I do my best to learn how to make my content better over time and will at some point invest in better hardware.
ty
dont expect much new shit as I only upload when i feel like it
I usually just upload pure gameplay videos but i find it funny to do video collages with screenshots of all the games that i have played during a certain time period. I have done it for a couple of years now and find it a quite fun way to remember all the stuff that i have played.
youtube.com
Subbed!
Good luck!
Here's mine

I mostly do let's plays of obscure games that are either weird or spooky. Currently planning on doing a thorough exploration of worlds.com
Why you no link properly brah?
Worked for me.
>works on my machine, shouldn't have pirated it ;)
Phone is being a spaz, sorry bby
Less a pure video game channel, more like a fucked up comedy show that happens to have video games in it. Surreal, meme-y, obnoxious. If you like Tim & Eric and "alternative comedy" you might enjoy this. Reddit hates me, don't be Reddit :^)

you should totally sub to me. k? k.
About the same. 1100+ subs now, which is nice.
Revolution 60 comes out this week apparently, so I'm gearing up to cover that. It makes sense if you realise the kind of content I do, I'm not a BriWu fan.
Stop posting in every thread, dumb horsefucker
Your content seems well made, I'll sub.
Thanks for the kind words, currently working on something for tonight.
Anyone know how good the quality shadowplay is or what I should set it at? I was thinking of setting it to 20m and recording whole matches but the files are pretty huge at max quality. I was thinking maybe I should just use it for like every 5 mins and just save a copy of it nonstop a few times instead of 20m. Will it copy the same 20m of footage down if I pushed it and then 5mlater pushed it again or would it only put the new 5m of footage?
I record highest quality using Shadowplay and the files sizes are never super big, using DXTORY or something similar always creates bigger file sizes (for me anyways)
Didn't upload much lately but I'm about to get into it again, currently making some last edits to a script.
Anyone got any feedback for my earlier stuff? I'm looking to professionalize a little bit in terms of visuals and editing but aside from commissioning actual art assets and shit I'm not really sure what to work on.

140 subs with views varying from 20 to 4k with DaS 2 and now 3 montages or such, I'd say I'm doing well, specially when my vids are months apart from each other.
Good job man.
Thank you user, I hope you have a great day, do your best!
>Revolution 60 review
Nice, I'm looking forward to that.
I always do brudda.

You like neo80's shlick? R8 my editing attempts. Thanks.
Yeah it's the editing times and what not that are starting to overwhelm me. I feel like I'm saying a lot of time and precision because in 4k the files are too fucking big to work with in real time. So I thought maybe this would be better
Do you really need to render and output your final video in 4K?
I've never made youtube shit before.
I was thinking I'd try just talk over me playing through Oblivion for a while though.
I've never played through it.
I once played a little bit of one game and recorded my voice, and that was kind of fun.
Someone once said that my personality could be put online, and people would dig it, though
that friend is very complimentary of me.
Ya won't know without trying.
Give it a shot! You got nothing to lose, might as well have some fun.
Try making a video and posting it in a simular thread in the future.
Thanks for the encouragement.
Good point. I'll do so when I've got the time to start recording.
Going allright. Uploaded a new video some days ago, hopefully it can be useful to someone:
youtu.be
Not going to post the other ones as people are probably sick of seeing them by now.
no record in 4k export in 1080p 60s
