Did you ever felt guilty pirating a game?

Did you ever felt guilty pirating a game?

Star ruler 2 is the only one I have ever felt guilty about. Now the dev went out of business and we will never get a game like it.

only good ones.

No. Activision shouldn't be getting any money.
Also when are we getting new info on the new VtM game?

no because if it's good I buy it and if it's not I don't give a shit

>Whether or not you win the game, matters not. It's if you bought it.

he really should play the devil in every movie from now on. Maybe Lucifer in Marvel.

Christ that is one handsome devil, would suck off

Only with good games like Serpent in the Staglands or Odallus

I only pirate EA or Ubisoft games, so no, never.

>this meme

I only pirate old games that couldn't possibly be generating any real revenue for the creators anymore.

For example, newest game I've pirated is Vampire Bloodlines, and that shit is like 12 years old now.

why would I?

People have been pirating software for years, I highly doubt some fucker felt bad about copying some paper full of holes for early software, or copying games onto a blank tape, floppy, or disc

why do you care OP?

>Did you ever felt guilty pirating a game?
No.If i am pirating a game it means that i am trying it out or i simply can't afford it right now.

I like owning games.

No, because if a game is good I usually buy it afterwards.

not VTMB, that's for sure

why the fuck would I give shekels to activision?

after seeing the absurd prices of used GC games? Fuck no. It'd be nice to own them, but i'm not about to drop $100 on one gamecube game i'm unsure of the quality of.

no
i was listening to venture bros commentary on an ep and they mentioned that if you got this from a bootleg or off the internet that they'd be bummed
and i just didn't care

The witcher 2 after i beat it, bought it later on though.

If I worked at EA, I would be constantly excepting to wake up in some sort of death contraption.

I owe Toby ten bucks

No.

>i just didn't care

>i have no empathy

Never, not even for a minute fraction. I have only pirated games of companies that screwed me out of franchises that I used to buy. If I really want a game, I buy it day 1. If I want it but don't want to buy it day 1, I always wait for sales. I'm not a faggot nor an autist that can't wait 6months to a year for the price drop.

However, if I've been buying games in the series, then you put extra drm bullshit and paywalls, then I'm going to pirate it. Don't put anything between me, and giving you money for the product. My part of the involvement is to you give YOU the money YOU deem is appropriate to obtain the product. Taking my money and giving me what I paid for, it's so fucking simple. No extra bullshit included; no DRM, no account system, no always online, no heavy moderation to keep you from your purchase, no paywalls to get the product in installments, NONE OF THAT.

If I buy it, it should be mine to do with as I wish, end of discussion.

Why would I?

Prices are not adjusted accordingly to each country's living standards and average paycheck.

I mean, I'm from the Balkans, Serbia to be specific, and the average paycheck is around 300 euros, and that's on the generous side of things. A new game at release more often than not tends to cost 60 euros. So why would I spend a fifth of a paycheck on one video game alone?

>So why would I spend a fifth of a paycheck on one video game alone?

In the US of A, you can't live by yourself on $11/hr despite the national minimum wage being $7.25. I'm at $16 and I feel pretty poor. God Emperor Trump will make things better when he ascends to the throne.

Some games that I genuinely wanted to play.
Like DX:HR.

in 20 years, not once

The internet hasn't been out for 20 years.

c'mon in the case of HR most people expected it to be shit, until it leaked, and holy shit, that probably WAS done on purpose by the devs cause it fucking worked and i pre-ordered the game and loved it.

>not waiting a gazillion hours on dial-up connection to download Thief 2 while playing Commandos

that was if windows didn't fucking bsod every hour

Yes it has.

Wasn't that picky in 2011 about games. It was about the time when I just came here from Sup Forums.

So I just really like the setting and premise for it. Also, I can't recall knowing about the leak back then, and even if I did, I didn't care much.

dayum son, as much as it was blasted even by me on how the game was going to be shit, most of Sup Forums loved it as well

that leak was the best thing that ever happened to DX HR

shit, its been almost 10 years since i've been around

only tropico, I spent so many hours on the game

this
I bought the entire dow collection just for all the hours I've dumped into it

I felt guilty about pirating ghost trick so I bought it.

That is actually the textbook definition of cuckoldry.

I want to have rough sex with him

Jesus fucking christ, you faggots really feel sorry for pirating a game?

I only buy games with multi-player that interests me. If it's sp only, fuck it, I'm downloading it, I got better things to spend my money on than with toys.

>you can't live by yourself on 11/hr

yes you can, you just mean you can't live the life you want to live

yeah, undertale, so I bought it after my neutral run so I could play the other aspects of it in a paid version

How come hes so young but already a CEO of a big company ?

fuck me

he's hundreds of years old, he suckles the blood of children to sustain his youth

Because he's fucking sexy

Only if it's a floppy.

Nah, non-physical goods aren't worth paying for.

nope

>Game credits
>SPECIAL THANKS:
>You

Yes.

Only once.

I enjoyed Dark Souls so much I bought a copy for online. Then the disc scratched up within like 2 weeks

why do you take bad care of your things

I feel guilty of not having the cash to support the companies i like, but when i download shit i don't feel any kind of remorse.

A couple kickstarted games off GoG that have that "This game is possible thanks to your support!" splash screen.
Although I rarely pirate things anymorw nowdays, except things I cannot easily acquire legitimately. Like the Command & Conquer Collection.

Yes, back in the days when Steam had no security it was possible to use a tool to download and play all valve's games online for nothing.

Valve banned me eventually so I guess they got their own back.

I've felt guilty more often being duped into wasting money on a buggy game through false advertising than pirating a game.

I only buy games I like, and I don't like any game. There's always something stupid and shitty about them.

>CEO of one of the most "evil" companies in the world
>rich
>good looking
>hot wife
>Australian

How does it feel to have everything?

>hot wife
4/10

Only for Hotline Miami and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. And then I bought them.

her elbows are too pointy amirite

>hot wife

i've seen trannies that look better

She has the longest face I've seen and it's creepy. Being hot is about the face and she ain't

>I've never had to

>Brazil
>Economy going down the drain right now
>The Steam pre-order price for the new Doom is at R$230
Not like I feel compelled to buy it, but damn, I feel like that's the most expensive single game I've ever seen. To put things into perspective, a couple years ago one could buy an AAA $60 release for about R$120 or so at launch.

Thats just Bethesda being jews. Others AAA games are following the ~120.

The only one I came close to feeling guilty was persona 3 and 4, even though I didn't have the consoles to play it. I will buy persona 5 though.

you talkin' like Kalindra-chan isn't 10/10

I wish I had your shit taste and low standards

whoa, post me some of your 10/10s women man, I wanna see them

...

I feel guilty for not torrenting Fallout 4 and wasting my money on it

no, i am not autistic

No, but I've certainly felt guilty about spending $60 on a game only to be severely disappointed by it (I'm looking at you, Dragon Age 2). A lot of games I've bough, I'll play for a couple of hours and never play again, making me feel like shit for wasting my hard earned money on it.

Very rarely do I feel bad about pirating a game, but I did feel extremely shitty about doing it with Bravely Second.
The game was amazing and I pirated it for a shitty reason like censorship (barely anything was changed).

I'm still debating if I should buy it or not.

me too

i couldn't be arsed dealing with the plethora of updates and having to repirate.

no. I've been screwed over so many times that I don't feel bad for it

Never
Because unlike most retards i actually know when a game is gonna be shit.
So i pirate all the shit and wast money on stuff i know i will play.
>i didn't buy Dying light
>i didn't buy Fallout 4
>i didn't buy Far Cry primal
>i didn't buy Undertale
so on so forth
I did buy
>DaS3
>Xcom 2
>SFV
>Risk of Rain recently
>The Phantom pain. But really who could have known

>who could've known
anyone, really

I just wanted it to be good, so much

Nigger, how do you still have the patience to deal with retards online?
Why would you not spend your time and money on something tailored to be an interesting story.

Wow, congratulations, that's the dumbest statement I've heard all year.

>I did buy SFV

My condolences. I really wanted it to be good, but ... deep down, I knew it was going to be shit.
