I fucking hate when the old cast manages to steal the spotlight of the current cast and proceed to drag shit out. DR2 is a good example of that. If it's just a single character that doesn't disrupt the party structure or balance of character interaction and relevancy then I'm all for it. Protagonists coming back as enemies is the hypest shit and one of the many reasons I love ZOE2.

If I personally controlled the character, I do not like to see them become corrupted.

They wouldnt have been corrupted when I was making the decisions, so why did they suddenly become corrupted after some kind of time skip.


Only way I truly accept it is if they sacrificed themselves from an I winnable situation, and corruption was a side effect

Seeing an old character come back can be a "fuck yes my nigga" moment when done nicely.

The old DBZ had some real inspiring stills and animation even if some episodes had interchangeable styles it was never as bad as Super. And then there were the movies, hooboy

DBS takes 28 episodes to finish redoing the movies
In most places, the animation is awful, but other than that, it's on par or better than the movies.
There's a lot more tension when Goku fights Beerus again in Super, and SSG is actually cool.

I thought the last arc of Super was really good, and the latest episode with Monaka was great. Animation still leaves a lot to be desired, but now that they're off of adapting the films and now going into original stories, the whole show has been much stronger. Arale is supposed to be in the next episode, so it should be fun.

The show is still hype as fuck. Black Goku sounds stupid as hell but so far Super didn't disappoint me once and delivered the 12 Universes tournament I was hoping for since Champa appeared so I trust Toriyama.
