I liked his playstyle in Brawl.
I played Brawl a few months ago after not playing for years and he was the only character I felt good using.

Should of at least given Falco his move set. Make the two somewhat different instead of near identical.

By that logic, literally every character with a sex kick neutral air is a clone.

Wouldn't it be weird if they did what they did with Fox and Falco and brought back his 64 voice, and he's no good at it any more either?

If they shared literally the same animation across nearly all of their moves, then yes, by that logic they would be clones. That is precisely the idea I was presenting, good job clarifying.

because every other move he has is different and even his specials are more different from Fox's than Falco's are, yet no one has a problem with Falco.

PM has muddled my memories of how fucking terrible the movesets were for a lot of Brawl characters.
This becomes extremely apparent when you try to give Lucas or Ike a whirl in Smash 4 after a marathon of PM.

Wolf has completely different A moves. If he's a clone, so is Luigi.

I think a compromise in which we call him a semi-clone is reasonable.

relatively speaking I was just a kid when i played brawl and I kinda wanna see what he'd hold up like in smash 4.
Other characters i completely disregarded in brawl like Lucas i now absolutely love. I'm not a big fan of fox's play style, so I'd like to see another alternate for the moveset from falco who is also pretty fun.
I don't really give that much of a shit though.

For me it's Roy because hoooooooooly shit he's bad in Smash 4. You go from doing some really fun and fancy shit in PM and then go to Smash 4 and get your ass handed to you.

He beats Falco. Wolf has a unique moveset and yet he got dropped while Falco, who was still a carbon copy in a ton of ways, got in.

I don't play Starfox at all so I couldn't care less about Wolf as a character being excluded, but a unique moveset getting kicked out in favour of muh veteran status is annoying.
