Should I just start over?

No. Continue role playing as a retard and finish his story line

>mfw I killed Eygon cause I thought he killed Yoel

Why not continue and get it right in NG+? Afraid it'll be too hard for you?

?

NG+ is easier than NG.

...

Dude you have to finish. This is your experience, you have to accept both the good and bad

I killed Moorne because of the same reason/

I killed the blacksmith because of the same reason.

Bosses are far easier. Random Mooks will fuck you up more often.

I haven't seen eygon since that one time.

>killing any NPCs on your first playthrough instead of simply allowing their natural course of events to take place

Fucking retards.

I thought he was gonna murder everyone though just like Yurt.

>forgot to find Anri by the skeleton bridge
>went to Irithyll chapel and still haven't entered pontiffs room

An I fucked? Is she dead or can I go back there and find her?

I killed Patches on my first playthrough because I thought he had killed Greirat. I was mad when I found his ashes

>>Got tricked into hollowing myself

What do you mean "tricked"? It's just free levels.

I never really pay attention to the sidequests the first time through. Every Dark Souls game, I waltz through the zones, smash the boss at the end, and link the fire like a good goy.

After I know all the enemies and zones from my first playthrough, I go back and do the sidequests, usually using a walkthrough because some are easy to fuck up.

Also, OP, you can fix your stat spread by joining Rosaria's Fingers.

This.
It's even required for a quest line.
It's not a trick.

>I thought

Well don't make incorrect presumptions and there would be no problems, you mong.

>magic is fucked

explain pls. seems pretty strong to me

>quest lines
I just got to NG+ and I have no idea what any of these are or if I've actually participated in any. The only covenant I joined was the wolf one but I didn't do anything with it. I just found someone locked in the basement of High Wall I missed completely. Don't know what this means either.

Blind is fun when you're dumb.

>DS1 and 2
>"Magic is too OP!"
>DS3
>"Magic fucking sucks!"

You can't please anyone, really.

>did all the steps for the Hollow Lord ending
>beat the boss with Yuria
>clicked the prompt to link the fire
>suddenly thought I'd done it wrong and was supposed to leave the kiln
>try to quit
>skip the cutscene

Fuck

I found yoel dead without any explanation, so I went around trying to find one (There was no NPC by Yoel at all cause I used the fire keeper soul). I saw Eygon was literally the only new thing around. Decided to talk to him, and he basically called everyone a faggot.

What was I suppose to think?

i refuse to send Greirat to Lothric Castle because I don't want him to die

No exploding bolts for me I guess

It's a bit confusing as you initiate that ending the same way you would initiate the default generic ending. I believe I also tried leaving the Kiln.

>greirat goes out for a scavenge
>find him dead in sewers
>orbeck gets all giddy after I buy all his spells
>find him dead in the archives
>eygon is eygon
>find him dead inside the cell irina was originally in

this is by far the most depressing souls game

He won't die.

That's the right choice. Greirat is a bro, don't send him to die.

t. Yuria

except when you miss out one of the funniest covenants of the game because its easy as fuck to miss it wich is the mound makers.

Just finish the game and end the age of fire end it all.

beware of liar

people are and have always been irredeemable dicks?

I killed morne, eygon and greirat for that, just to be sure

>Decided to talk to him, and he basically called everyone a faggot
Based Eygon you killed an actual Paragon of justice user.

>Accidentally Corrupted Irina

So this is where Eygon goes. I never found his corpse. The worst thing is that I wanted actively to end the flame, thinking it would be the time for humans to finally shine.

Can you still hear my voice, ashen one ?

what happens if you kill all npcs in the game? im curious

It's funny because Eygon is probably the biggest faggot of the bunch

I beat the entire game and Anri was still at the skeleton bridge even after I had already been there and seen that she wasn't. Horace was dead by then so she was at Irithyll next, which didn't have any hidden assassin, and then after that she was dead in Gwyndolin's secret room. All while every boss had been killed already.

Eygon is based as fuck he only cares about one thing and when it gets ruined he will kill you then himself in the name of his god.

Some of them just come back, like the Fire keeper and the handmaiden. I don't know if Andre comes back

The only vital NPC is the Firekeeper, and she respawns anyway. The rest stay dead.

arent eygon and morne the same?

>gwyndolin
>legs

>walk into Anor Londo room
>Anri laying there dead
>mfw
>start using the wiki and reading all the npc quest guides from then on

Who the fuck killed her?

Ludleth will respawn. You should kill him for the ring.

All guys from Carim has the same "king of friendzone" personality. With exception of based Pardoner.

handmaid and blacksmith come back too...

>Who the fuck killed her?
you

What ring does he drop?

When she's at the Irythill bonfire, there are some statues in the corner.

Try attacking them

He dies permanently and drops his ring at the end of the game anyway.

>"Complete" Irina's questline.
>She moves to the dead Firekeeper tower and you can level up off of her, but can't speak to her anymore.
That was a bit depressing...

Also why are the +1 and +2 rings restricted to NG+ and NG++ if they suck and there's zero point to adding them in the first place?

Does anyone know what the true softcap for Luck is? I've heard it's actually 39, not 40. If that's true, what about STR and DEX?

Skull Ring; It basicaly makes you aggro the enemies when there are allied phantoms.

This ring is usefull if you are going with a huge shield so you can tank while your summoned npc or player can go to town

Patches did kill him. You were just too late.

40.

I run a luck build with Anri's straight sword at level 35. 37 luck and a +3 hollow weapon on my offhand to get me to 40.

ANri's Straight Sword hits like a truck, harder than greatsword two hand weapons. I stopped playing that build because r1 spam is boring.

It's weird, but apparently I've heard there's a diminishing return from 39-40 Luck, like how there's one between 26-27 Vigor.

I guess I'll just test it myself and see what happens.

No he doesn't. In fact if you fuck up Siegward's questline you can tell patches where Greirat is in Irthyll Boreal, Patches will show up and save Greirat. In fact when Greirat comes back he mentions someone wearing Onion Armor saving him.

Patches mentions in earlier dialogue that he owes Greirat a favor after Greirats saved him earlier.

>ANri's Straight Sword hits like a truck, harder than greatsword two hand weapons
Can it get a 990 damage r2?

>turtle laughs in my face for taking level loans and dies
>Yuria shows up
>tells me I have been bamboozled by her clever ruse
>insults me with a backhanded compliment and implies she is in charge
>two shot her and clear my dark sigil
>end the fire so Londor can never have their precious hollow empire
What a couple of dumb bitches.

Is magic viable for PvP? i've never invested on a INT build but all those spells available on the game and the Cleric's Candlestick acting as a sword and a catalyst made me interested.

Also is it good for PvE?

What's the attack rating on it?

Patches has never asked me about Greirat when I talk to him after sending him to Irithyll.

What happens if you kill the Blacksmith? I beat the game but I forgot to kill him before going to NG+

I think he drops his hammer, which is useless as you can get it in the dark Firelink Shrine anyway.

Thats called your first run. Beat it and make a new save or NG+ that stuff

>Get 5 free levels around level 20, it only costs minimal amount of souls to clear it so I wait until endgame.
>Get to like level 140 because of the endless silver knight farming, with all my leftovers I decide to clear the hollowing.
>It costs 1.4 mil
What happened?

I'm talking about at lower levels. I had 250 ar with it at 40 luck and Anri Sword at +2 at level 35. It's hard to achieve that at lower levels.

I mean, like, are you fucked and can't upgrade weapons ever again?

As if snuffing out the fire will make it so it will never be rekindled again, but at least you can enjoy the dark age for some time until a random undead gets strong enough to light up the fire again.

He doesn't respawn, so yeah, that's what happens.

Look closer.

>focus on downing all the bosses
>miss every quest because they hid it all

That also requires putting all your points into luck.

Nigga I fucked up so many questlines and wasted so many stats on my first run. I'm still doing it on my second run. Just commit and enjoy the different ways things turn out.

Or do you actively want to screw yourself out of reasons to replay the game?

still legs

They're snakes.

This was 100% my play through too, I even beat is a mage too. All you actually missed out on is like 2 lines of nonsense dialog per quest line, and it is basically impossible to do half of them without a guide. Just finish and play again in a month with a new character.

I used prisoner's chain ring to make up for lost stats. Carthus rolling ring so I could switch to Warden's Blades for bleeds.

The build is quite broken at low levels.

>find turtle guy at start of game
>send him back to firelink because why not
>never run around firelink to look for him, forget about him
>eventually go around looking for npcs I've sent to the shrine
>find turtle man dead

What happened to him?

>Prisoner chain and carthus bloodring
Enjoy being one shotted

no, they're not
those are legs

But he is right, you moron.

Are you new?

>not putting all your points into luck
My recent playthrough, the first time I beat Nameless King, took me dozens of attempts and I just barely beat him.
With a luck/bleed build I took him out in a single try, taking barely any damage myself.

Luck is OP. I got invaded in Archdragon, and the guy nearly shat himself when I took off 90% of his health in a couple of attacks. I'm really bad at PvP so I kept letting him heal, and eventually we got a simultaneous kill on each other, but that first few seconds where I could practically see the fear in his eyes was priceless.

This, never completed a damn quest in my first playthrough
Fucking cryptic shit required guides online, who in fucks name I'd guess resetting my stats would make a character that never talked to me become my enemy?

Sorry I meant Carthus Milkring.

And I don't get "one shotted"

10% at lower levels is meaningless. Especially when everyone is only +2

poise isn't a thing.
Armor is useless.
You will always only exclusively face ganks.
You might as well ignore survivability and go for glass cannon.

>Got Anri killed
She's/he's beside you in the Lord of Hollows ending. The "marriage" ceremony doesn't kill them.

I wonder how long it will take people to admit that DS2 is better...

Fucking this. I didn't even meet half the goddamn NPC's in the game, and also..

HOW THE FUCK WOULD ANYONE KNOW WHAT THAT RETARDED CAGE ZOMBIE IS TALKING ABOUT IN ORDER TO JOIN MOUND MAKERS?

Cryptic shit. Almost all of the quests are incredibly fucking cryptic. I don't see somebody could conceivably complete any of them unless by total accident if they were doing a blind run.

>step into the cage
>dude just wandering around with a big cage on his back
Even if you went for the sneak attack you'd see the prompt to get in.

No, I've just been playing the Souls games since Demon's and I can say honestly each NG+ adds to the difficulty.

In dark Firelink, is it possible to jump from the tree onto the roof or is that only present in the normal one?

wait what's wrong with Hollowing?

I accidentally killed Yorel before even talking to him had no idea where he was in Firelink, so no Yuria either and I just started NG+ and just unlocked my "true strength" or whatever. Beat a couple of bosses and haven't died/gone hollow yet.

Makes you ugly.

take off your helmet

What do you mean 'admit'?

I think it should be obvious to everyone by now that DS2 is superior. A lot more memorable areas, bosses, and much less linear progression.

After beating DS3 I'm struggling to think of a single memorable area or boss fight. Dancer was pretty neat I guess. Everything else just felt really recycled.
