If you're going to play scholarship edition, play the wii version. PC and 360 versions are buggy as fuck.
In fact, I really suggest you play the PS2 version over the Scholarship Edition, the extra content isn't worth it.

It's not that bad, it's just really buggy and can crash often. It's also locked at 30 fps unless you apply the 60 fps mod, but that makes the game crash a lot.
If you have a PS4 you can play the PS2 version through there, but if you can't emulate the game, just go ahead and play the PC version, just expect problems and be happy if you don't run into any.
I constantly got stuck in poles and kept getting stuck in the ground during winter on 360, it's the worst version out of all 3.

If so, I'll probably still play it, but I'm not a big fan of timed missions.

You have classes (they are all mini games) that take place a certain time, but you can play hookie, the cops and prefects look for you though.

There's a time mechanic but you don't have to go to class. You pass out at like 1 or 2 AM if you don't go to sleep but there's no point being up at that time.

Steam version crashes a fucking lot, I actually dropped it after losing like half an hour of gameplay multiple times in a row. It doesn't help that you have to go all the way to a bedroom to save and due to the time mechanics you're encouraged to only save at night so you don't waste valuable daylight running to and from your room.
Wii version emulated doesn't fucking work either. The wiimote warning screen at the start is bugged and fades in and out at one motherfucking frame per second, so you basically can't get past it. Allegedly if you wait long enough eventually it will go away and the actual game plays without glitches after that, but I waited for as long as my patience held and nothing happened.
So yeah, fuck this game. What I did get to play of it was pretty fun though.
