sooo...what actually makes this game "10/10 must buy" ? all what I can see is nice graphics and a good (?) plot. aside from that it seems like your everyday cover shooter. what's the appeal?
I play on pc so I haven't tried any of them, played the new tomb raider and people say it's kinda like uncharted.
Why have you highlighted emotional?
It's an emotional game user
you should buy because it's emotional
They're shitty movies
I can send you my copy of the nathan drake collection that came with my ps4 if you want
I don't fucking want it
the same reason people like terminator 2 or mad max. it's fucking entertaining
Because they thought they were reviewing a soap opera but in fact it was playing on their PS4s
okay I'm starting to understand it. how's the gameplay then? worth 60 eurobucks?
It's 10/10 because Sony is pouring money into reviewers so they give it the best score possible
Its nothing new
Rise of the Tomb Raider >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Uncharted series
Or maybe reviewers are just big fucking plebs with no taste?
Hipsters are dumb but they love money you know
>dat neko
Good taste.
By far the best looking game right now

Not better than the original, and nowhere near the mod. Also runs at 4k 60 fps. How does Uncharted run in photo mode?
>that picture.
someone has no life
Tell me a good thing about the game
It's emotional
What you do in the game?
It's emotional user! Stop this racism
I'm thinking about buying the game but I haven't played any Uncharted games before.
Is it open-world? Once you finish the game can you freeroam around the world? Is the multiplayer fun?
It's emotional
10/10
i've only played the 2nd game but it by memory is a linear chapter based tps.
surely there must be something more about the gameplay than cover shooting and QTEs? The plot itself can't carry the game alone if the gameplay is so dull what it looks like to be? what can you do in the game? why doesn't anyone tell me?
OH SHIT SON #REKT #REKT #REKT
>surely there must be something more about the gameplay than cover shooting and QTEs?
No
THEN WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS HYPE ALL ABOUT?!! IS IT SHIT?
It's not shit. It's just a really average game that gets millions of dollars of marketing
>THEN WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS HYPE ALL ABOUT
Lots of people are prepared to put up with hours of mediocre, generic gameplay as long as it has a layer of polish and spectacle as well as being very emotional/mature/whatever
See: Bioshock Infinite
i think you guys should be prepared to accept that people just like cover shooter gameplay if it's used in big set pieces. gears of war, max payne 3 and shit should show that
all the uncharted games have trivial puzzles and stealth sections and shit to make the game a bit more interesting/vary the pacing
Its the equivalent of watching a Hollywood blockbuster but sometimes you get to shoot dudes.
Its a big dumb bright quppiy game with decent characters and average third person shooting.
If that's your thing give it a shot. Maybe try the PS3 versions they're like 5 bucks now.
Is the game worth buying if I favour more gameplay than story?
I don't actually know if there are more cutscenes and QTE's over actual control of your character.
YouTube some footage dummy you can spoonfeed yourself
I did that just now.
Are there various routes and paths? How destructible are the environments?
It does look good at telling a story, but gameplay-wise it doesn't seem to have too much of a draw.
its a mostly linear 3rd person shooter. the draw isn't the gameplay, its the world and characters.
Watch an LP on youtube. Save yourself $60 and get the same experience as playing. Consider that if is right there is no reason to actually play this wannabe movie, just watch it and consider it finished.
