Setup: dystopian city where a mysterious plague breaks out slowly turning humans into mutants. The healthy humans have no choice but either kill those affected by the plague or lock them in the multiple layers under the city. You, the protagonist, are a human affected by the plague trying to survive in the world under the city. Also the deeper you go under the earth the sicker the world will become as the heavily mutants will all live in the more deeper sections
Atmopshere: Everything should be miserable with a 80s cyberpunk feel.
Gameplay: FPS but you can also mutate giving you some unique style of combat

A dungeon keeper style rts where I manage unethical and irresponsible laboratories researching demons, the occult, aliens, ghosts, monsters, undead, unstable physics phenomena, killer robots, that kind of thing. In the name of personal enrichment, advanced military technology, and science.

I get to direct construction of the labs, safety measures, failsafes, personnel recruitment and purging, capture missions, deployment of alien human hybrid soldiers or other fruits of my research against rival labs or threats to humanity, which could include my own previous failed experiments. I also get to spend time on the side designing my luxury palace with the profits.

Inevitably the subjects break out and I get to manage disaster containment measures or lockdown the lab and observe the subjects devouring or other wise disposing of the personnel and facilities, or both. Then rebuild and restaff with better containment measures.

Mine is a third-person action adventure with combat somewhere in-between Dark Souls 1 and Devil May Cry 3 in terms of speed, a plethora of different weapon and armor options, I'm thinking cel-shaded graphics, various modes that change the amount of enemies vs natural obstacles you face, and options to switch gameplay modes to suit your taste, though that would have to be limited to two or three kinds of gameplay. Shit's a clusterfuck in my head. I need to sort it out on paper.
