If it's true, they're either faithful to someone else and wouldn't consider hooking up, or they don't consider you attractive enough to be worth cheating with. If it's false, they're just trying to turn you down more politely, but again, because they're not attractive enough. In 2/3 of those cases, the common denominator is you. Don't go changing yourself for the type of girl who wouldn't want you regardless, but see if any self-improvement's in order to refine you into a better version of the person you already are.
