I also would like to know how good the game is.

gibsmedat key

I only played civ3 to 5 and TW:Rome and this game is pretty good. It's a bit boring, but I'm playing on slow speed, and all others seem to have great fun. when not getting buttfucked from the beginning

Interesting. I had that same event. Though my race was spiritualist and my priests discovered the item was a message in a bottle from extra dimensional beings on how to ascend the mortal coil. Got lots of tech from it.

Is there smth new if you leave tree of life as it is? (One that gives you elixir of life to increase lifespan of leaders or global happiness)

Roll

Its basically civ 5 in space. I am enjoying it. But its not the kind of instant gratification type game. Its all about the methodical building of your empire. If that is your cup of tea i say get it.

Anyone try a Chozo kinda civilization?

I want to be peace loving birds who spread knowledge to savage primitive lifeforms.

Rock and Roll

desu I don't even know the challenge

Rolling to steal trips. Let's see if I'm successful! Who am I kidding, here comes singles

It happened again, someone tell me what the fuck is going on.

>Declare war on motherfuckers I want to take over
>They ask me to put reasons on a droplist, I put "Vassalize enemy species"
>Attack them
>Kill their armies
>Go to their homeworld
>Destroy all of the fortifications on their capital planet
>A message just straight pops up
>Enemy: "You may have shown your millitary power superior, but don't mistake this for an intelectual victory"
>My only option of response is "The best possible outcome"
>My army disappears
>I apparently signed some truce with the faggots and can't attack them for 10 years, even though I didn't
>Can't attack them again
>Can't take over their capital

WHAT THE FUCK?

Hmm gibs me dat

Yeah the midgame is pretty boring.

>suddenly Coordinators popping up in the colonies

give me pls

I do not understand

load autosave and show how did you declared a war

give, faggot

what's with your faggots not understanding what vassalization means?

>paradox interactive

Do colony borders expand slower if the borders aren't connected to your main territory?
Because my main blob has grown a ton while my one far off colony is still just a small circle.

Talk to them, then select 'integrate into empire'

Vassalization means they remain independent. You just gain control of their foreign policy and can possibly integrate them into your empire much further down the line. Or they could break the vassalization off in a war.

whats that

Game of the Year t b h lads.

Border size is determined by pop i think

>Complete quest chain
>Get this popup
>"sweet, I wonder what this actually does."
>click it
>it does nothing. No ethics change, literally whole quest chain was wasted.

Playtest your fucking games, Paradox.

This game worth buying for the multiplayer?

Or is the multiplayer shit?

This game is buggy as fuck. Fuck you Paradox. I can't imagine myself ever playing on ironman mode with your retarded bugs.

Went back one auto-save and fucking destroyed their asses again, this fucking time the faggots actually gave up and became my vassals. Did nothing different, but the other times I clicked "best possible outcome", they didn't become my vassals for some retarded reason

Does it mean that when you win the war after demanding vassalage, their map becomes completely invisible to me, my army disappears and comes back one month later, I can demand them to become my vassals but they tell me to fuck off and I can't declare war on them again because I supposedly signed a 10 year truce with them? Is that how vassalage works ,you stupid faggot?

Now I finally get to see their territories and I can wait a few days before reintegrating and my science ships can enter their borders. Jesus fucking Christ. The same bug happened twice in a row.

Roll

>vassalize enemy species

Are you fucking retarded? Did you miss the class in school where you were supposed to learn about vassals?

>leaving order number up

Rate my empire, I just launched the game 20 minutes ago

I plan to be peaceful, somewhat

I'd like some trips.

How differently do the different traits actually make the game play? Does it just boil down to percent modifiers, or are events and stuff directly tied to your empire traits?

rerollan

>being peaceful
>in a game with no options for peaceful expansion

>what are federations

Does vassalization mean that when you win the war after demanding vassalage, their map becomes completely invisible to me, my army disappears and comes back one month later, I can demand them to become my vassals but they tell me to fuck off and I can't declare war on them again because I supposedly signed a 10 year truce with them? Is that how vassalage works ,you stupid faggots?

Now I finally get to see their territories and I can wait a few days before reintegrating and my science ships can enter their borders. Jesus fucking Christ.

Okay let's say I drop pacifism, what do I pick instead? Xenophile?

Already own but but rolling for trips

>declare war
>nigger already has an army deep inside my empire

how ?

The font for this game is so ugly and blurry.
What the fuck were they thinking.

third times the charm?

Is that a reference to Bertrand Russel?

aye, that be Russell's Teapot

Am I the only one that considers re-rolling to be breaking the spirit of the giveaway or whatever?

If I use a wormhole to travel to another system, can I travel back or do I have to build a wormhole generator in that system to get back?

ok

Any cheats yet?

So, is the game good? I'm trying to get into these type of games, some people on /gsg/ say it's bland
Otherwise are there other 4x games with a fantasy/scifi setting?

no i agree
i just take the liberty to roll three times and then stop whenever a giveaway im interested in happens

Yes, like in every paradox game
cash
minerals

/gsg/ shit on it cause it's entry level of grand strategy.
and cause it's paradox game.
there are tons of 4x, but this one mixes 4x and grand strategy

trips get

also how the hell do you give your empire a bio in the create screen?

What tab lets you do it, because I have seen no option for it anywhere.

But I don't want this game. I want, like, 6 bucks for a game I can't find a torrent of for the love of God.

How do I build wormhole stations? I can't find the damn option.

How do you raise your opinion ratings with other empires?

After 3 failed empires I learned the game mechanics, now I need advice for the long run

is there any reason to not attack your first neighbor?

vassal or conquer/wipe out? Which is better?

literally google Stellaris-CODEX

eh

I've never gotten trips and I won't get them now. Not that it matters as I know next to nothing about this game and could certainly live without it.

obviously id win
steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198174609567/

>Can't find a torrent
Nigga, the torrent was ready less than 2 hours after release. If you can't find one, you're too stupid to play Stellaris at all, and that's saying something.

How the fuck does slavery work

playing united confederate space

slaver empires seem pretty good early and late game but fall down mid game

i rolled early game and after taking out two primitive and 1 empire i was rolling in supplies, but as i slowly got into mid game i was taking a heavy research penalty and i couldnt colonise many of the planets i ran into simply out of fear of overincreasing my slave population. By about late game however i had enough tiler block removers and territory via frontier posts that i could balance it out, but i'm having a lot of difficulties making alliances.

To summarise i think slave empires have a lot of RNG to them on whether you get enough planets to occupy your main species, but if you do you can outproduce pretty much most of any empire you face

r u stoopid?
>But I DON'T want this game. I want, like, 6 bucks for a game

You are also extremely stupid. Read before replying, buttplug

ok rerolling steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198174609567/

I don't even know if trips are possible on Sup Forums.

makes no sense.

rewrite your sentences.

[email protected]

lurk more

Nig

slavery gives you double output on food and minerals, but reduced output on energy and research

equally, too many slave pops leads to revolts, so you want:

A) less then half your pops to be slaves
B_push society tech as fast as possible to get terraforming and increasing your main pop
C)migrate slave pops to inhabitable planets if you need to and open migration for your hippy main pop species can go elsewhere
D)put a ton of your sectors on research, slave empires will fall behind on research simply due to half their pops not being able to do any.

You retards know that repeat numbers are disabled on Sup Forums right?

Legitimate question: are you literally retarded?
I said I don't want this game, I want ANOTHER game, and this one costs 6 bucks, and I want to buy it because and can't find any torrent for it.
Nigger.

What game?

you have to drag and drop the reasons from the left to the right window where your fractions is

you can also make enemys to vasals of your allys or your vasals
