I'm cool with strong black female whatever characters as long as they're written well and are realistic. I can understand her going toe to toe with Nathan Drake when fighting, if she's in the military and Nathan's been an adventurer his whole life then she'll know techniques to keep him out of reach. But that one Webm where she holds Nathan down and just keeps attacking him and you can't escape the hold while your brother comes in to help only to get swatted away is completely unrealistic. Men on average have more muscle mass than women, and Nathan may not be a military man but he's been on the road almost his entire life.

You can have strong female characters without having to resort to "GRRL POWER JUST AS STRONG AS THE BOYS" archetypes.

Nate decides to retire from adventuring after all and settles down for real.

The problem is, they already painted Nathan as some kind of superhuman that can leap ten meters without problem, grip to any wall and punch full protective armor slavs. It was already a big suspension of disbelief we had to go through to enjoy the game, Nathan is simply a superman because he's the protagonist. Okay. We can swallow that. And then they throw it all away just like that

I would be as upset if it were a straight white male doing the same shit. But you know they didn't do it just to score some points with people that complain about lack of game diversity, specially because Uncharted already had tons of negative points with them because Drake is already the epitome of "white guy hero". They wanted to even the score and... this happened. Players already put up with too much bullshit to enjoy Uncharted, they would break at some point. They picked this one.

Because that results in graphics/texture downgrades. Look at what uncharted 4 did, 1080p/30fps for single player, 900p/60fps for multiplayer. After playing both single and multi player it makes sense. Single player is more than enjoyable at 30fps and looks gorgeous, multiplayer doesn't look as great but is quite smooth which is obviously beneficial.

Complaining about "forced diversity" is only appropriate when when it's actually forced. The GTA games intentionally have proportional representations of different ethnic groups. Shitty Ubisoft games like Watch_Dogs have unintentionally disproportional amounts of different minorities in a city like Chicago because nobody bothered to program probabilities, it's all just completely random.

If there's a strong black character in an acceptable context, there's literally nothing to complain about. It's exactly as stupid as SJWs complaining about Nathan Drake continuing to remain a straight white male.
