What's next for Amiibos?
If Disney of all companies can't make the Infinity toy line work then how can Nintendo avoid the same fate?

less competition, more money for nintendo.
it would be a nice start by making them actually do something.
>What's next for Amiibos?
The usual.
>make more
>have 90% of them do nothing
Actually keeping them in stock would be nice. Stores get rid of them quickly and you're lucky if you can find a store with an Amiibo display worth a fuck.
What said too, it would be nice if they did something worthwhile.
Disney couldn't beat Nintendo so they dropped out
Disney doesn't have an army of rabid manchild fanboys who will slurp whatever liquid shit comes out of their ass.
they're useless outside of smash bros.
its on the game devs to try and actually integrate them into the games in a meaningful way.
otherwise it's just a waste of time.
Same as the tablet fad known as the Wii U:
Death.
>They add menial shit
"THEY DON'T DO ANYTHING"
>The do more shit
"THEY ARE WALLING CONTENT WITH PHYSICAL DLC"
Nice strawman
No shit Sherlock, if you stopped being a defensive piece of shit you'd realize this is what been happening in Sup Forums and any forum ever since amiibo were released.
a game that lets all figures be used and lets you make characters interact
even if it's Tomodachi Life: Amiibo edition
Code Name STEAM implemented them well.
Too bad nobody bought that game to find out.
No one said that, cuck
"Amiibo locked content" was just another point people used to shitpost the game over. Ugly art style! Enemy turns take too long (was patched to allow for double or triple enemy turn speed)! Wil Wheaton and Adam Baldwin voice in it (so you're either pro-gamergate or anti-gamergate for supporting/not-supporting the game, this is the level of shitposting the game got)!
It's a shame, the game was damn good. Just slap the FE characters behind a high medals requirement so people can unlock them without Amiibo and you're golden.
Nintendo DnD.
$20-30 download title that's is compatible with all amiibos with 5 players with one being the master.
>a game that could make use of both amiibo AND the Wii U's ability for non-symmetrical multiplayer gameplay by having one player trigger traps or set enemy locations
Disney's problem is they released too many.
They over saturated the market with hundreds of pointless stupid characters barley anyone gives a fuck about.
Nintendo only releases a couple of new amiibo every so often.
Too good of an idea to actually use
Thanks Nintendo
Lol, implementing characters too expensive or impossible to find is not fucking good. They could literally have used more common amiibos but they didnt
>couple of new amiibo every so often.
Yeah like the recolors, gold skins, and Animal Crossing cards
Don't forget that there is are two Kirby amiibos that unlock different content in the new game
