France was a major player in WW1. There's no chance it will be left out. Pretty much impossible.

USA should have come as DLC about 3 years after game release

Italy gives Austria-Hungary somebody to fight and opens up the possibility for a ton of AH-IT maps along the north-eastern border.

France is important, I don't disagree, but some suits most likely decided that without the USA in the game it wouldn't sell as well

Italy should be DLC about 1 years after game release.

And Italy players should be allowed to switch between the two sides during a match whenever they want, letting them pick the winning side. They should also get this ability in a future WW2 game

Also, the US uniform was very similar to the British one, so they could add a whole new faction with very little extra work required except American voice work and different insignia
