Im really an ignorant in the matter but is that difficult for a company add online througth steam?

Game was made in some sort of GameMaker program because Hopoo was a student at the time, not even a computing or game design degree.
The lack of Steam matchmaking is probably down to the GameMaker engine plus not being a full on coder.

So I asked a friend who works in some company, making a game (working on evolution of start, upcoming russian space MMO). He said he could tinker a bit with RoR multiplayer and even add steam support, but he needs raw code and to contact a developer.
So, yeah. Here's that.
evolution of stars*, not start.
