Name literally one good reason why you should buy videogames instead of pirating them

If I enjoy a product, I should pay for it so the creators get money for it. It doesn't matter how much they actually get from my purchase, as long as it helps them in some way

multiplayer

It feels more satisfying and gives me a reason to actually play them
Too much of a free thing's bad, yknow

If you are right wing: to keep the market afloat.

If you are left wing: To keep the society afloat.

If you are an edgelord: no reason.

If it's a niche series or game genre and you know that the game's not really all that popular, but you still really enjoy it, why not support the dev?

You don't have to work around antipiracy reasons or be wary of a stray system update ruining your games.

Plus physical cartridges, boxes and other goodies feel good to have.

Because I'm not some poorfag wagecuck who lives paycheck to paycheck.

Steam hours :^)

Not opposed to pirating them first, but if it's good and you're going to play it for more than a day, don't be a shitbag. Support the creators so they have a chance to make more good stuff.

Because I want the devs to make more games.

If I like a game, I'm going to want to fund the studio.
Im also not poor.

To show that I bought a new game in steam activity feed to my 22 friends (18 of which I don't know and nevery talked to them).

Because I want to support the devs

because if im not willing to buy a game im not willing the play it

Name one reason not to pirate overpriced games like every indie game over 15 bucks.

Post ya kot blins

...

...

>blins
It's blini you dumb kotposter

...

the only real reason is multiplayer
and achievements if youre a neckbeard
sometimes makes patching easier too

...

I put a kot of medium Rarity on my playing field, in attack position.

Multiplayer

ridiculous Steam / HumbleBundle / GOG sales loooool

Does Grafix finally have a worthy successor?

Fuck off.

OMG :3

...

Because if only casuals buy games then devs will only make games for casuals.

Ha, you fell for my ultra rare trap knife kot

...

t. indie "game" dev

that is an actual imageboard opened behind him on PC, russian 2ch or something

That little snout is so absolutely adorable.

...

Fugg

Empathy

Because there's peace of mind knowing it's not going to have untraceable malware packed in by some cheeki Russian, and that it's going to be the most stable, bug-free way to play the game. Plus any MP stuff actually works, and you don't have to wait for cracked patches.

Of course, if it's available on GOG then there's really no reason not to pirate other than morality, cause that .exe is actually the same as what you'd paid for.

I want Todd to keep making them.

Because if no one bought video games, there wouldn't be any video games to pirate.
Fucking idiot.

...

Some iteration of it yes. The original 2ch is long dead, it had numerous successors most of which shut down as well.

To support the devs or sometimes to spite the devs I would not mind pirating from.

For example: cities skylines vs simcity

because I'm not a poorfag and want the convenience of having it through steam
