They've become this huge fixture of the industry because of PAX, but the comic itself--and even gabe and tychos opinions on games--are really fucking bland now. I am baffled that they're still talking about fucking Destiny in positive tones in 2016.

They grew up, had kids, settled down and became normies.

Watching Penny Arcade suck more with each passing year is like watching a guy you hardly knew from college (outside of a few hello's outside your apartment) come out as gay and then slowly begin to post more and more degenerate shit on social media. One year they're just going out to dinner with another person of the same sex and share a picture of it, the next they're in full drag and wearing multicolored clothes, screaming "FAG PRIDE WORLDWIDE" at a pride parade. they become a running joke among close friends where you can always look at that one picture where they really started the transition to sucking a lot of dicks (loss) and have a good laugh at it, but they're still a faggot and always will be now that they changed.
