The actual designs of both of these are great but I feel like the text ruins them. They'd look much better if they didn't say "Monster Hunter Generations" and "Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate"

When did I say it was too hard? Monster having extra health and that's it is boring as hell. The one extra move it might have doesn't make up for wasting more time.

Generation's text is at least somewhat centered, so it's a bit more tolerable than 4u edition. However I prefer the design 4u edition, the fur looks cooler than the blue monster designs.

Monster Hunter is all about the multiplayer. But you can play any if you just want to go solo. It just won't be as fun. Each game has new mechanics introduced so playing the latest one is usually preferred.

Multiplayer is for having fun

Single Player is for the challenge.

Well, 4U is a blast but Gen has a handful of new mechanics mixed in. As someone said, multiplayer is for fun, solo is for real hunters.

I don't think 4U is -that- much cheaper. It might be worth coughing up a couple extra bucks for Gen. If you are just insistant on hunting and pinching pennies, 4U is still a solid choice.
