Crap! Noone Loves me
Have fun finding this game though. It was sold once in some humble hourly bundle and that's it.
damn it
everytime I put some vaporwave to chill and cheer me up I feel fucking desolated and empty
help
vaporwave is depressing you idort
Hotline Miami is vaporwave
Listen to LeƦther Strip
pony streamer
probably cause vaporwave is meme trash """music"""
hotline miami
vaporwave works with some cyberpunk stuff
the genre itself is inspired by 80s and 90s + cyberpunk and consumerism/capitalism
there is also futurefunk which is better desu
worlds.com is the only true answer
also vaporwave is cancer
Future funk is the casual version
youtube.com
Try some Miami Vice
I just want a gritty Cyberpunk game where their pop culture/style is pretty much Vaporwave.
The super clean feel of the A E S T H E T I C would have a really nice clashing effect with the grittiness of the environment and world.
Hotline Miami is not vaporwave.
Try future funk
youtube.com
damn that's fucking good
I think I've heard something from this some time ago, but can't remember
sounds really good
TEKKEN 2. Fore reals, that soundtrack
yume nikki
No
Try something similar to vaporwave then.
the game called
Back to redit
i want tol licke the yume nikki boussy
the boussy xD
any indie game or a pretentious one like undercuck. vaporwave is a shit genre to listen to and based on the internet bandwagon. they are actually alike.
>the current year
>not listenimg to mallsoft
you don't chill to vaporwave, you retard
you chill to chillwave
do you understand?
try this youtube.com
Vaporwave a shit
We outrun now
>vaporwave
>to cheer me up
>
>
>>>>>>>>>
Vapor wave actually does chill me out, then again most depressing sad things give me that warm hug feel all around.
Maybe I'm broken
...
drift stage
LSD: Dream Emulator
This is the closest that you're ever gonna find to that aesthetic
Space Harrier is pretty vaporwave if you ask me
I feel pregnant
>tfw no cyberpunk with 80's culture and aesthetics.
I want to see Neo-Miami, dammit.
I want to see Miami Vice, except with more Japanese zaibatsus, cybernetic drug dealers and the soundtrack is nothing but various kinds of -waves. Everyone still wears casual suits, sunglasses and loafers with no socks, but they're also cyborgs. You have the Vice Squad trying to hack Hollywood-style into deep web sites to find out which warehouse a server is hidden in, before finding out that the bad guys are doing an illegal augment deal the old fashioned way at the docks, and it's a race against time in a sports car to find the deal before a batch of shitty Chinese knockoffs ruin hundreds of lives and a corrupt Japanese business runs off with millions in cryptocurrency.
I'd do it myself, but I'm artistically retarded.
And most likely plain retarded too.
Now I want to run a Miami-based Shadowrun game.
I'm gonna steal your idea for my portfolio
thats synthwave, not vaporwave
Vaporwave is designed to do that. Vaporwave is built upon the feelings of isolation and failure that stem from capitalism. Listen to some good socialist music, read Marx, work to emancipate the working class.
retrowave > vaporwave
I wanted to say Middens has a vaporwave aesthetic. But it's more like a walking simulator in an recycle bin than a vaporwave game.
You might be able to run old PC games like Rollercoaster tycoon for a taste of that 2000s old computer aesthetic.
What do you listen to? Vapor wave usually cheer me up good
Let me get this straight, there's an entire genre that sounds like Hotline Miami's soundtrack?
>future funk
good taste
Please tell me more aboht this game. Is it fun?
Yes
bubsy3d.com
It's literally the video game equivalent of vaporwave.
I'm actually working on a vaporwave album right now using PS1/Saturn music as a source, Tekken 2's soundtrack started it all.
is it just remixing the source sounds with FL Studio 9? I'm interested in remixing a few sources myself.
>It's a "Sup Forums falls for a 2012 Sup Forums meme" episode
underrated post
>it's an "everything is a meme" episode
It's all in your head.
Pretty much, yeah. I have no previous experience with music at all, I've only ever worked in physical mediums of art before, but I wanted to branch out. So far it's been much easier than I expected, but vaporwave is a bit of a cheap genre by design anyway.
I've always fucking loved anything with a distinct aesthetic.
spyro
no you're retarded.
Deus Ex Human Revolution
nigga don't know the difference between vaporwave and synthwave
/leftypol/ pls
It's there. It qualifies
I've given up, oooooh, I'm trying. To sell you things
THAT YOU AIN'T BUUUUYIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN
naw man
>I'm givin up on tryin to sell you things THAT YOU AINT BUYIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN
Well OP won't actually find a game with vw aesthetics, might as well get close
youtube.com
some good proto vaporwave
can't wait to try these responses soch nostalgia lol! things sure were better back in the day amirite guys? so comfy
You play as a fucking super-powered dolphin.
vaporwave isn't about things being "better back in the day" you plebe
I would probably say this is /thread right here.
this
It won't take you terribly long to see everything, but it's a ride and is definitely worth checking out. I still go wander around it sometimes, I find it really relaxing and sometimes I still find new stuff.
Go here
gradualdime.wikia.com
and then here.
gradualdime.wikia.com
The best.
It's literally mashing as much imagery/sound/aesthetic from the childhoods of 80s and early 90s kids as humanly possible. It's just meant to be comfy, which is easily achieved by nostalgiafaggotry.
not him but expect /x/ tier shit. its fun if you actually meet someone with saved worlds so you can teleport and explore forgotten areas. most stuff is blocked for VIP users but I have a link with VIP.
www-static.us.worlds.net
Some user made a vaporwave game, it involves you wandering around some low poly assdedick world untill you grab a coin, then some laughing faggot starts chasing you tryinna kill you till you grab some other item.
Anyone know what I'm talking about?
The first form of vaporwave took its name from this and all
look up chuck person's eccojams
>but I have a link with VIP.
How does that work? Isn't VIP account based?
>it's just meant to be comfy
it's not meant to be comfy at all, a lot of people find that vaporwave actually has the opposite feeling about it
It sure as fuck partially is. Things were better when I was a kid and this shit is meant to remind me of my childhood.
That looks like it's trying way too hard.
This is why stuff like worlds is great, it was just a normal thing back in its day and now it's vaporwave as fuck.
Aw hell naw this was what I was talking about, what version is it now? I got 1.2
same one.
did you actually play it?
It's meant to have the feeling of distant, hazy, dreamy memories; the effects added can sometimes feel unsettling but it's another thing to say it was intended to sound unsettling.
>lostboy.exe
Ecco was the king of aesthetics

RIP little buddy ;_;
Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake
A little. I picked up some object (It was a while back, allright) and the laughing dude started chasing me so I alt+f4d that shit cuz stoned me ain't brave.
>it's not meant to be comfy at all
youtube.com
its just a game I work on from time to time.
I really digged the whole vaporwave thing, even if it became a dead genre.
I actually started studying it a bit, listening to some albums and I think I learned a lot about it.
to the point of thinking about changing several aspects of the game.
I was gonna make it a fast, stylish shooter, but I guess an exploration based game would be best.
I just really love the atmosphere it creates, and I wanted it translated into a game.
you can kill them by shooting with the left mouse button.
I, uh, hadn't realized that.
I thought it was supposed to be a horror game.
