Funnily enough, Jacob Anderson was on Harmontown, Dan Harmon's (Rick and Morty, Community) podcast, a few days before the episode, so it's not a far gone conclusion that Roiland would get on Game Grumps. Roiland is also rumored to be devloping a VR game too.

While Game Grumps is pretty terrible nowadays since Danny is an unfunny mess, Steve O and Jacob were pretty solid shows. If they toned down how much Danny they have, ramped up guests and killed off Suzy, I'd say I might watch GG like I used to when Jon was still associated with it.

Look, Jontron was great when he was around but have you watched any of the older shit? Even Arin was saying how much awkward pauses and bad topics came up on the show that they had to edit it heavily or even just not upload the episode altogether. Danny is actually what keeps me invested now because Danny is more experienced with retro games but shows a huge appreciation for new games while Arin seems like he could give a fuck less. They need to let Danny play more games because right now it's like 4 games a day being played and all of them are Arin taking the wheel.

I watch the show for the banter. I could really care less about how "experienced" any of them are with any type of game. The truth is that none of them are really amazing gamers, if you wanna watch really good gamers play, watch speedruns or DS hitbox porn or something.

Jon and Arin had really good chemistry. Arin was the straight-man and Jon was the goof. I don't think Danny fits into the role, and his music and interests are pretty lame for someone in his mid 30s.
