>They don't drop slabs
Fuck right off with this garbage
Why did Darkwriaths do it in 1
They don't drop slabs
Lol
Memories of those stone pieces of shit knights and statues in 2.
How when you attempt to grind 50 Awestones, you end up with more slabs than fucking awestones themselves.
I'm samefagging but wanted to post on Sup Forums too, don't hate me
DS2 had too many slabs
Granted you could upgrade armor but still, so many sources for slabs.
You all ready 8 slabs a playthrough how many do you fucking need?
Unlimited
I'm sure some people out there have autism and have a burning desire to get literally everything to +10
fucking why they all ready give you unlimited everything else with the dragon chaser ash
6, no?
Having limited rocks worked in memebourne because there was only 15 weapons pre dlc, it's not the same for DaS 3
1x is given by Siegward of Catarina after completing his questline in Irithyl Dungeon.
1x can be found at the Grand Archives, after pulling a lever on the upper floor, a bookcase on the ground floor will shift its position. Hidden behind the bookcase is a chest containing a slab. The Slab on the floor with the giant wax tub and 3 enemies, and the lever is on the floor below the second Crystal Sage spawn.
1x can be obtained by trading the Coiled Sword Fragment with the Crow.
1x is obtained in Lothric Castle as a reward for killing the 3 golden winged knights at the very top of Lothric Castle. Start from the Grand Archives bonfire and use the elevator. Head towards the Lothric boss fight but immediately turn left to spiral up a staircase. Make your way across the roof to find 3 knights on a dome shaped roof.
1x can be found at Lothric Castle. You must activate the elevator just next to the Lothric, Younger Prince boss fight. If you first access the elevator then ride it all the way down. Get off in a room just before the Dragonslayer Armour boss fight. Trigger the elevator but immediately jump out, a different elevator platform will rise in its place. Ride this platform to find the Titanite Slab in a small niche. Video Location
1x can be found at Archdragon Peak next to Havel-Knight.
1x can be found in Archdragon Peak after killing the Nameless King. Walk ahead of the bonfire and loot the nearest corpse. Video Location
1x can be bought for 30,000 souls from the Shrine Handmaid once all the Cinders of a Lord are placed.
So i'd like to try a DEX/LUK build, what's the best weapon to use? Already did STR and INT (fuck Int though).
Hollow warden twin blades 2 Kat Sharp sellswords Anris sword . Also dex luck is for faggots if anything do dex faith
>Dex faith
>60 faith
>40 Dex
>Insert weapon with confirm into sword art
Gg
Sharp sellswords with scared oath and lightning blade can run into a gank squad and do 1500+ damage aoe off landing a r1 it's funny as shit
I respec'd to ten strength and wasted many slabs
>So i'd like to try a DEX/LUK build, what's the best weapon to use?
Forget DEX, just get your stats up to be able to use a Carthus Curved Sword and use Hollow Infusion. Don't forget to get 5 free levels from Yoel and to bump your hollow level all the way to 99.
I use tears of denial but that sounds better
>Current year
>being a dex fag
r1 WA r2 is a confirmed kill at lvl 90 meta with sharp sellswords and lightning blade it does at least 1300+ damage. With scared oath and llyoud sword ring if you get the first hit off it's game over.
How about dex int? I want to run Crystal magic weapon since it looks so cool.
also acceptable because dex also improves cast times.
You can wiggle out of that grab, one of the few instances.
Really? I never even tried because I've accepted that in FromSoft games, grab = watch this long animation play out and then lose 3/4 of your HP no matter what.
Is there a video?
You can actually wiggle off a lot of grabs in BB, it's just extremely uncommon in DS3. Mash the shoulder buttons instead of the stick.
You've been able to mash triggers on grab to make them last shorter amounts of time since dark souls 1 with mimics
Has this EVER been mentioned in game or was it just something I was supposed to have figured out on my own?
>He didn't mash buttons in panic when he first got grabbed
it didn't take that long to figure out but no they didn't.
Gotta figure it out. Was added in BB I believe. Many grabs in BB can be escaped and one in the DLC actually does MORE damage if you try to escape.
it's been a thing since dark souls, you can mash the triggers to escape the mimics grab quicker.
Here's another secret about Stray Demon: You can cripple him if you hit him hard enough in the legs, they fucking crumble away.
I never mashed the triggers or bumpers, always the face buttons and joysticks
>60fth
>not just 30 for the blade buff
Which one?
The fish people in the Fishing Hamlet. If you try to escape their grab where they beat you with a cleaver they add an extra hit or two.
That's not a bad thing. There is literally no downside to having slabs not being a limited resource. No possible harm could have come to the game if some bumfuck enemy had a 1% drop rate of them.
>first playthrough of DS2
>end up with THREE FUCKING SLABS before I got even one chunk
fucking ridiculous
Are there tights in this game? I'm doing a cosplay build and the character uses tights. It's either that or tight fitting leggings.
Quality 40 STR/DEX build fag here.
I like to use a lot of different weapons which is why I always go quality.
I had to go to NG++ to upgrade most of my shits.
>Tfw i ran through NG++ and had so many points i just invested in vitality, since im a melee onry fag
>after 30 or so points, i was able to cosplay as THE CHAMP
In the long run, it was kinda worth it.
level?
And you still needed the havel ring no?
You can do just fine with +9 weapons unless you are real OCD about it.
I am, that's the problem.
Also, when I try out a weapon and start to REALLY like it, I want it at its best potential.
Well then slug threw ng+ faggot 8 play pre playthrough is a lot
Any Layer 3 or 4 boss of a Depth 5 chalice dungeon could drop a Rock in Bloodborne.
If you're using 8 different weapons and then finally decide that the 9th one is actually your favourite, then it's your fault, not the game's.
You don't need Havels, you just need about 60 VIT and the Prisoners Ring, which you should be wearing anyway since you're cosplaying THE CHAMP
...
level 140, but by 120 you should be able to equip it. Maybe even at 100 if you push it and sacrifice some hp, even at NG, since havel's +1/2 are shit, so are the ROF +1/2. I did not used the broken chain ring or whatever, since that one reduces damage absorption.
>only 8 slabs
Fucking why
>Needing more then 8
Spot the retard
>only using a total of 8 of the weapons/chimes/staffs/bows/shields in the game
Spot the retard
>Upgrading shields when they do nothing
It's called having 8 main go to weapons for any situation while all the others are at +9 or 4. Even then both +9 and +4 do good damage. If you really wanted a build that needed more you hit ng+ since you'll probably need plus ring anyways. Also why did you delete your first post faggot?
NG +10 weapons: Great Machete, Yorm's Great Machete, Black Knight Great Axe, Black Knight Glaive, Red Hilted Halberd, Drang Hammers, Gundyr's Halberd.
NG+ +10 weapons: Gotthard Twinswords, Washing pole, Dark Sword, Onikiri and Ubadachi, Exile Greatsword, Estoc, Smough's Great Hammer, Tailbone Spear.
NG++ +10 weapons: Gargoyle Flame Spear, Hollowslayer Greatsword, Black Knight Sword, Wolf Knight's Greatsword, Fume Ultra Greatsword, Profaned Greatsword, Farron Greatsword, Astora Greatsword.
I'm thinking on going to NG+++ to fully upgrade even more weapons.
Why didn't they just allow unlimited slabs?
There's just no real reason. It'd make more sense if they made more use of NG+ like in DS2.
Quality is pretty much the best way to go for a first playthrough, especially since you're not gonna know the specific requirements for items usually
bro you gotta buy the dlc to get the slabs
>Black knight weapons
>Great Machete and Yhorms Machete
Your own fault you wasted those slabs
Because fuck everyone
>Implying Black knight weapons aren't amazing
Great Machete is my go to PVE weapon, and Yhorm's Great Machete is amazing in PVP (if you don't use it like a retard).
Couldn't you only get two blood rocks in Bloodborne?
>all the others are at +9 or 4
But that's retarded and inefficient. Your other weapons now underperform solely because you are forced to manage within an arbitrary limit in resources.
I feel they did this specifically to force people into NG+,because it lacked any other incentives other than the increased difficulty and small rign upgrade.
The first post was missing the " > " in the first part. It wouldn't have made any sense.
adventures with my weaponfu
1 in the main game. 3 in chalice dungeons. 1 in the DLC. infinite from the shop for 60 insight. (which is a lot)
Holy shit, didn't think it was a single-playthrough drop.
Too bad the dude hits like a truck in NG+ and the Lothric castle knights are most likely nightmarish in comparison.
I swear they're going to do this.
>DLC will add slabs in the new areas
or even worse
>DLC adds way for unlimited slabs
Basically, pay up or no slabs for you
I need a better source of chunks. I'm bored of grinding the fat angel guys and spending all the souls I've earned buying chunks.
>Inefficient
Nigger what +9 weapons can still push 450+ damage it doesn't need to be in the 500 or 600s to be viable unless you have pure autism or playing in the 125+ meta.
BKGA is a dirty slut, I see her everywhere user
>Attacking the second red
>Killing him even
Yep, you're retarded.
>healing as an invader
kill yaself fambam
>60 insight
But it still allowed for infinite rocks.
That's not even hard. Just keep grinding an easy first level chalice boss. Since the game doesn't have many weapons, I'd say it'd only take you a day to farm for all the weapons you wanted to upgrade.
Though they patched the Blood Rock into the insight shop after the game released.
Maybe they'll do the same for DaS3.
>OP unparryable nonsense with massive amounts of hyper armor frames and phantom range
so impressive.
>He thinks reds are friendly to each other
Nah faggot every single person must die when I invade I don't even care if I get jumped because it.
When you say 3 from the chalice dungeons, could you specify a bit more on that? Are they in the non-randomly-generated ones? If so, which ones? Depth 5?
Just started chalice dungeons myself. Only gotten through the first 4 so far.
>you can't heal, not even if there's multiple phantoms with the host
t. ganker
>doing first playthrough of game on release
>find my lovely weaponfu, BKGA
>lets see how shit you are this time
>mfw it's actually good this time
>mfw not just good, it's fucking amazing
>stop playing the game entirely and just sit in post pontiff boreal valley and invade
>nobody knows how to deal with it yet since game just released
>rack up over 200 embers with that shit within the first week of release
>fast forward to now and all the kids are using it thanks to shitty youtubers
was fun while it lasted
IT WAS AN ACCIDENT YOU FUCK
>estus chug
>r1 r1 r1 r1 r1 r1
diaper shitter
>Feeling bad about killing another red
Faggot kill every trust nobody even yourself.
The first time? when you see him and attack him immediately?
I don't think so.
>invaders not trying their hardest
The whole concept of invading is not supposed to have a ton of etiquette rules based around it to make it "fair" for the host, the entire concept is supposed to be stacked in favor of the invader to an extent so that they're actually intimidating and something that makes you shit your pants while you're trying to play and get through a level. If you want rules in PVP do a fight club.
Fuck you m8
I've earned the trust of many other invaders and could honestly count the amount of non-Mad hostile invaders on my hands. Feels good man.
All these faggots mad cause my weaponfu is objectively the most skill based weapon in the game. lmao
That was an accident too. She scared me
If the jump from +9 to +10 isnt that significant then why the hell do they limit the slabs so much?
It's just a baffling design choice.
The jump from +9 to +10 may be not that much, but the one from +4 to +5 is fucking huge.
Your weaponfu is a fucking slut!!
>not uniting under the common goal of ruining the lives of shitters who need to summon
>not invading as a sunbro in an attempt to help your brethren murder faggots who can't play videogames
killing a red means you are increasing your chances of the host not getting fucked
and under all circumstances it is number #1 priority to fuck over all people that summon
at all times
I feel like sunbros that invade tend to side with the host but maybe that's just my cognitive bias, because I hate sunbros desu
i kill reds after being tricked by a host who disguised himself as a red phantom somehow, followed me for 5 minutes as we "looked for the host" then when i had my back turned, he walked into the boss door
still not sure if it was a hacker or there is a ring or item i don't know about that lets you become a red phantom
That fucking webm
>by a host who disguised himself as a red phantom somehow
Are you playing on PC?
Because that's not possible unless it's a cheater.
yes, pc
so i guess it was a hacker then, their nameplate even said they were a rosaria's finger like i was
sunbros mostly invade for the soul purpose of helping other invaders deal with ganker scum
I invade as one on almost every character and I hate any host with summons with a passion, never seen any other sunbro side with a host either
sun covenant is pretty much an invasion covenant now, for summoning it's shit because since you can switch it literally on the fly with no penalties everyone and their mother has a gold summon sign
...
it's true user, everyone figured out how good BKGA is so now everyone uses it with hornet ring for those sick parries
once onlyafro/ironpineapple/limitbreakers/sunlightblade/some other faggot ass youtuber meta-pushing anustart makes a video about it it's all gonna be over
>Actually using the "lol I have no range and easy as shit to parry" rolling R1 of the BKGA
user, please, stop doing this to yourself.
Anyone?
